I was just thinking, what if she opens with J’attendais? The song speaks about waiting for love for a long time, so it would be perfect given the situation. Plus, it would be a nice flashback to the D’eux Tour.

I’m going to try for opening night tickets on the 12th Sept. Normally I’m really fussed on good seats but I’ll take literally anything to be there on the first night. The standing ovation at the start will be one for the history books

Apparently! Still a bit skeptical since we are used to 1 step forward, 2 back, but this seems very promising. 

Maybe that's why they didn't bother the 30th anniversary since they were busy with something else.

I truly hope that this comeback and these shows will be documented and released. They have too.

Hmm no... what I am sensing is that she will put emphasis on the new songs. She has not released French music in 10 years and she will only have limited opportunities to sing songs from the new album. I therefore think she will seize the opportunity given. I would not be surprised if she sang 6 new songs, assuming the album will be a success.

Who says there won’t be any new English songs?  We know nothing at this point.  

The fact they considered other countries like London tells me there is more to the story.

I also think the instagram dump  also screams international to me … and French album isn’t exactly international… I do have a feeling we are either getting the bilingual album or maybe two standalone albums near each other but I definitely think a least new English single at minimum.

Well... Celine has never released a bilingual album or a double album. She always separates the English from the French releases. Since the concert series is in France, I believe the French material will be the priority. To me, there is no way she will release an English album right after 'Courage' and the 'Love Again' soundtrack, AND promote it with concerts in France. It will be like she is ignoring her development as a francophone artist. However, I hear what some of you say and who knows, she might surprise us with two albums or a bilingual one.

Paris Match article if correct, says that Paris, Vegas, Berlin and London all were in the running for those shows for comeback but and the decision was made in February for Paris yet she was seen in the palms recording studio many times LAST YEAR….summer/fall/winter, that also tells me she probably at least recorded some English music too.

I still find it more likely that they will release two separate albums. Also, the La Défense dates were rumored since 2024, so there must have been at least some idea of it being Paris, even if other options may have come and gone throughout this period.

What if the new Celine was actually … a band or a musical  ? Do you remember Celine saying several times in the past at different periods, she would love being in a band, that would remind her childhood, singing with her siblings ? Or a musical and she would share the stage with other singers and would not have to perform alone 2 hours and a half.

Personaly I would prefer Celine alone, just her voice but I wonder what could be a new Celine since she explored quite all music styles and hair styles 😃

Maybe drop 2 albums at the same time because everyone has been starved of her presence... and then move around from French to English shows. They might do something they've never done as they've had circumstances they've never had, and as a completely new era of new ideas

I hope the production of the new show is huge and they plan to film it and release it on Blu-ray, they're complete fools if they don't,this is literally the biggest comeback in music history!!! And they should upload the video of the opening and the first song on the first night on YouTube as soon as the show is over, imagine the hype and the views,it will be fxxking epic,and it will be good pre-promotion for the Blu-ray release!

The big posters for her comeback will be plastered all over Paris, London, New York, Milan, Brussels, and… Montreal, of course, starting Tuesday, March 31st.
