I mean... we've theorized (dreamt?) about it on here before... if performing for Celine's comeback at the Olympics can't get JJG out of retirement, nothing can! And he's still the "most admired" among the French in annual polls, despite being out of the public eye for years, right? So the French public would love this, if he can be convinced.

This is so thrilling! I’m glad a lot of us didn’t lose hope — and now we know she’s finally in Paris.

 

A JJG duet would be epic and emotional to see. But I hope that would be in addition to Celine having a big solo moment/performance.

 

And I love her 90s inspired outfit. She’s always thoughtful in her choices. She’s such an icon! And she’s THE perfect singer for this moment in Paris. She deserves this enormous career moment.
