Excellent choices! As you can see there was a tie between THV and TJADA as both songs were given 68 points. However, THV was voted by 9 people whereas TJADA by 8!

 

Now moving on to what I perceive to be the most mellow, quiet, and soft French album she ever did... C'est Pour Toi

 

Here are my choices:

• 12 Points - C'est Pour Toi, the epitome of power ballad. A song she could have easily sung as an adult. An English adaption would have also worked IMO.
  
• 10 Points - Pour Vous, this song is magical, very unique.
  
• 08 Points - Avec Toi, what I said about CPT pretty much the same applies here as well, beautiful song!
  
• 06 Points - Les Oiseaux Du Bonheur - love the rythm!
  
• 04 Points - Elle - another beautiful song, it is so nice it had its moment in 1994.
  
• 02 Points - C'est Pour Vivre, another solid track, love the background vocals.

10 Avec Toi / WOW, here we have Celine's sexual awakening song: she sings about a lover and she wants to give him her "fruits" in the bed. What was Rene thinking, when he heard the song?

8 Dis Moi Si Je T'Aime / another song about her love for Rene, who kept a distance to her, Marnay was a brillant observer and songwriter.

Thanks, LukeD, for this game, because it made me remember this album Of her early work, this one is probably my favorite: coherent, lyrical, but not over-sweetened; the arrangements have mostly aged, but vocally the album is excellent - Céline already sings very maturely, doesn't overact, is wonderfully restrained in her interpretations, and gives exactly as much as needed, never too much (which she sometimes had a tendency to do throughout the years). The lyrics can be very audacious in places, when you think that a 17-year-old performs them with a 43-year-old in mind (if Marnay guessed, is it possible that the surroundings didn't?). I greatly appreciate the music, mostly by Quebec composer Paul Baillargeon (arranger of "Les Baronets," in which René sang, and head of the orchestra during Céline's first tour), but I give the most points to André Popp's endearing composition, "C'est pour vivre": there's something of a liturgical hymn in it, and a lot of potential. Céline returned to this song on July 9, 2003, during a concert in honor of Eddy Marnay at La Maison de la Culture in Gatineau (the audio from this concert is on YT, I recommend it, there are all sorts of flavours there), but I still find the youthful performance from the album unparalleled.
