the problem was that they did everything backwards. She was promoting the album and the tour many months before the album was even released and there was huge anticipation. Then the album was released and she had 2 tv appearances in it’s release week, then the thanksgiving parade. And that was it. No wonder the album had such a short life. The promotion after it’s release was just ridiculous.

 

Agreed. Hopefully they've learned from this for the future.

I don't know if her team would ever try to resurrect the Courage album... since it made the headlines as the fasting dropping #1 Billboard album of all time. Unfortunately, any future articles written about the Courage album would probably include that information. And it's such a shame, because Team Celine could've prevented it from falling so drastically with just a bit more strategy / promo after its release. Celine getting sick was no excuse. Regardless, I'm still thrilled that she has another #1 under her belt!

 

But I still think it would be wonderful if -- when they relaunch the Courage tour -- they re-release the album with some bonus tracks.

The bonus edition of the album could include:

 

-Ashes

-Wicked Game (with Chris Isaak) -- this cover is absolutely fantastic and it should get WAY more attention than it has gotten so far

-A couple of the other songs she recorded for Courage that were not released on the album

 

Team Celine could also use the relaunch of the tour / the re-release of the album as an opportunity to release a new music video for the album. Perhaps even a duet version of For The Lover That I Lost with Sam Smith. Or a duet for a new song.

 

It seems like Celine still has hope to get some big attention with an English song using a couple different tactics....

Either record a new movie song or record a duet with a big, current name. (Sam Smith, Ariana, Adele, Gaga, etc.)

 

 

They could at the very least link to the album and promote it. Like I said, their Amazon digital billboards all over the world that they are in love with don't even mention Courage or have Courage imagery on them. They should.

Yes..Céline just do collabs with Sia...isn't Sia a little outdated now? I know she is a super fan of her...but give us a new duo...with a new person..fans and media are not interested in Sia anymore

Isn't the difference very small unless you are watching on a television or a bigger screen than that? I for one don't knock team Celine for doing 1080p HD. That seems fine to me.

Yep, you only see the difference between HD and 4K on big screens and nowadays many people have smart TV (with YT). But as you said, HD videos are OK.

I think that when Mama Dion passed away, and Céline sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow..it wasn't the best song as per the lyrics too for the occasion. I think Céline should have sung Goodbyes the saddest word. Perfect, straightforward lyrics. Sometimes it is good not to use the same song for 1 year and bring old songs.

And Pepe is saying the outfits from CWT will change because now she is a fashion icon and they can't keep her in the same outfit for a year. What about the songs? She is a Music Icon first and then that fashion thing. An icon of music should not use same songs for her concerts for almost 2years. Even though Celine has more great hits.its not like IACBTMN, IA, MHWGO, BYLM, TTWII, are her only hits. There is IS, ANDHC, The Prayer, LMBTL, Incredible, IDAN, and i know there more.

I also think they could use this fashion thing with her music,you know...blend those together like they did with Imperfections. But no, can't raise your hopes with Team Celine. One song with that idea is enough for them. Its like they are graduallt indicating us that Celine is already retired from music.

And what is with Andrea and Celine. Is there a conflict or something? Céline has not perform that song in million years and now when she is performing it she is doing it solo?

She should include Barbra Streisand for a night for a rare duet of Tell Him

It never happened with All By Myself or Falling Into You. But one thing is sure the background motor amd screaming isbvery cheap.

They noticed that they had two videos of same length on YouTube so they planned on removing the one with maximum views😂😂
