We learn Celine has about 12 minutes of screen time. That he flew to the 2019 show in Minneapolis to meet her and convince her to participate. Wrote the part with her in mind before knowing whether she'll agree to participate. There are scenes where she talks about Rene & the kids:

Is it sourced or just a speculation from the press? Either way, I hope it's true of uer health.

It not 12 minutes altogether. Its spanned throughout the film, and obviously Céline isn't the main character, what else did you expect?

If we figure that each scene of Celine’s is about 2 minutes, that’s about 6 scenes it’s actually more than I predicted. I just wonder if Celine has a singing scene at the end of the movie like the German version does, and if so I would doubt and hope that’s not counted into the 12 minutes.

Well, Judi Dench was on screen for a total eight minutes on Shakespeare in Love and she won an Oscar. Anne Hathaway 15 minutes on Les Miserables and she also won an Oscar. Better quality over quantity

No one involved will be expecting a massive hit given how little promo is being done and the fact that C isn’t up to it.

 

It could be a good thing in a way. Shows once again that if the promo isn’t up to a standard then a project will not succeed.

I don't understand why I postponed the release date of the film if it was related to Céline's health (as no promo would have been made in February either) they should have stayed on Valentine's Day. there was less competition

They probably hoped/ expected she’d be better by May. Apparently that’s not the case.

I hate to say this and I know we have nothing concrete (or official) but I feel a tour cancellation is coming along with a video announcing her retirement.

 

I would love to be wrong but it’s just a feeling I can’t shake off.

Who knows the extent of this, I for one, don’t take no promotion of this as a sign that she’s not at least improving… we are talking about a woman who clearly hates promoting her work even when she’s 100% healthy.

 

Let’s not jump to conclusions about her retiring, tho of course anything’s possible.

This just proves that Sony isn't interested in Celine(not that they were before during Courage era), especially not after her health.

Tour postponement or cancellation - probably yes. But I don’t believe she’d ever announce retirement. She might be away from the public eye indefinitely but I don’t think she’d give up on trying to come back. It might a a pipe dream, but she wouldn’t telegraph that she’s giving up. And I have faith she’ll be back in some way - something scaled back, probably not live so she can control the environment and take time out if she needs to.

I would've never thought that this type of day would come in Celine's or our lives. To not be able to perform. To not be able to "see" your idol yet being able to see her.

I can't imagine what Céline must be going through, but I know she's a tough girl. She'll make it through.
