Agreed. She can easily do a virtual interview and her team can approve the questions. If she doesn’t want to discuss her health she doesn’t have to.

 

It will be telling if we see nothing from her in the next few weeks. She will want this project to succeed. On the other hand if she is getting better she might want to stay focused solely on that so as not to risk things…

Soooo Atom is selling tickets for Thursday May 4th starting at 4PM in my area!

I can’t help but wonder how the promo would have been if Céline had been healthy. We know that being an actress was her biggest dream (after having a singing career) therefore I’m sure she would have done lots and lots of interviews, live performances and even an official premiere with the cast on the red carpet. It’s so sad it all went this way.

Why aren't they using the title track for their promo videos? Shouldn't they be promoting it too since it is released?

 

Even Celine used Its All Coming Back To Me for the Instagram story she put a day ago when they could have used Love Again.

All these new scenes seemed a lot better than anything I've seen so far. I even laughed at ''I mean you can't really do anything without a brain''. Also, Celine's 'LIAR' was fun and cool.

Estimated opening weekend from Box office pro.

So sad I had huge expectations with this film being a success.

They have made a couple of videos with PC and Sam Heughan, all on the same day(probably the same when they wished Celine happy birthday)

And somehow Celine isn't part of ANY promotion, she's been as silent as anything, which is on her part very ignorant cause she's not only involved as an actress but also as a singer, if she thinks Sony will do the promo for her, well, it's not the case. Love Again Song hasn't done very well with all the promo it got.

 

 

And why the hell are they still using IACBTMN??? For God Sakes, just use the title track for the promos man, why are you using IACBTMN or other artists' songs?

I don't mean in that way. Her team could do something. Sony could involve her in many ways where she doesn't need to be present. And most importantly she can record one or two video messages.

I think people don’t understand how badly the movie theater are struggling to bring people in post covid era. With exceptions of a few movies like Top Gun Maverick and Super Mario Bros. That’s why many movies are going directly to platforms that stream and are skipping cinemas all together.

I think it's that interest in non-blockbuster/genre films is not what it used to be. A rom-com won't do as good as a horror film like Megan/Nope or established Marvel films (I say established because I think the Superhero film craze is starting to die down) and other blockbuster movies. Have small budget movies done well in theaters before the pandemic? I don't think they have. Especially rom-coms which I think have been struggling for a long time. Maybe Sony knows they'll recover once the movie goes to streaming so they aren't spending on promo.

This is what I've assumed... that there will be more promo in the two weeks leading up to the film's release in order to keep the momentum going. Sam and Priyanka going on all the big talk shows, etc. And hopefully something from Celine.

As I mentioned before the movie poster is in every London tube station and big train station. I seen it on huge billboards on a few motorways, in the metro news paper, on adverts on radio, will be on the side of buses from Monday and is rumoured to air on TV for the first time tonight.

 

I think London is doing an amazing job of promo so far!

The actors have time to promote on TV sets the 2 weeks before the release and then the week of the film. There may also be a preview on the day of the release and where a press junket. For Céline she will do I think an event interview if nothing is done we can unfortunately think that she will not be back this year
