I'm curious if she will act amazingly in this debut movie of hers. I mean, the amount of praises from Priyanka and Sam about Céline's acting being so natural and good. Makes me excited to watch it but still a little worried if some scenes will be cringey given the fact that Céline now is a bit…. You know especially if she will do the comedy part. I really hope it will be natural and not overacting.

I have a feeling if Celine or the promo doesn’t ramp up in the next two weeks this is going to be another glitter. Even box office pro is saying lack lustre promo have given this film “bearish” outlooks for forecasting. I suspect Celine may not be participating PERIOD in any promo and they (Sony) are just going to throw in the towel.

I’m not doubting your source but I find this hard to believe. The snip from the song leaked in 2019/2020 wasn’t it? I can’t see them shelving a song for a project which is 3 or 4 years away. Too many variables such as the project not going ahead.

 

For me the reality is this song was recorded for Courage, the active project at that time and in the end they decided it didn’t fit the album so it was shelved.

 

Am I saying the song will never see the light of day? No.

Did/do they have a plan for it after it was shelved? I think no.

For me, this song never was recording for the Courage Album. But i understand the fascination with this song. It remember a lot Céline old times. This why the fans want it. I Want too! But I'm happy to listen new songs.

I guess all hope is not gone…they probably won’t make the rounds until late next week or week of May 1st. If we don’t see schedule by then, we’re hooped. And if there is no Celine at all, even virtually , it’s a tell tale sign she’s not progressing well….

If there’s taped video saying “hey, it’s Celine, go see the new movie” then yes I’d be worried she isn’t doing well…. However, I don’t expect any form of virtual interview because I don’t think she’s ready to answer questions about her illness…. Celine would have to be in a pretty bad way to not do anything for the promo of this film and new album. She surely wants it to succeed — not only for herself but for everyone involved.

 

She’s months into her treatments by this point. I’m hoping she’s well enough to do something for the promo… like record some messages or do a few big interviews.

 

If she doesn’t do anything, that is a bit concerning.
