I don't know why (if she's healthy enough) she can't just film a 20 second clip and post it to her social media pages, proving she's fine and just needs time to get back to normal. That way she can just put an end to all that garbage "rumors" out there in the French tabloids. I understand sometimes it's better to IGNORE false stories but when they are just going crazy with this garbage you have to get ahead of it and speak out. And the fact that she hasn't (yet) just adds fuel to the fire. Celine where is your management team? Instead of wishing TTWII a happy birthday, they need to act…. This is where Rene is sorely missed.

But why do the “need to act”?

Tabloids will tabloid. Always have, alway will. It’s not like any of this is detrimental to her reputation. And we know from past experience that if they write stuff she finds personally hurtful (e.g. pregnancy rumors), she addresses it/ sues them. Otherwise, why waste any energy on it?

 

But yes, Rene is sorely missed. I hope she has a good support system that shields her from this stuff so she doesn’t have to worry about it.

I just landed in Vegas here myself! Saw the hotel she would’ve been in from the runway. It’s sad but I’m glad we came after all!! We will still have fun, going to see Derek Hough on Friday night instead.

Yep! I’ve always said the first time I come to Vegas would be when I could afford to come see celine. So obviously I was all excited to come to the premiere but when she cancelled I didn’t want to cancel the trip obviously.

I really can’t believe the show would’ve been in one day either!! It’s crazy! I know it would’ve been amazing snd I cannot wait to see whenever she does decide to come and do it! It will be epic. It’s already been one night and it’s amazing!

Because they didn’t think it was fair to just leave Pepe as collateral damage for an untrue rumor. They were protecting him. It’s one thing for things to be said about Celine, as she is the star. It’s expected. But they did what was right by protecting someone who works behind the scenes.

I'm so sad I'm not getting on my flight this morning!! Instead, today, I'm getting my Covid booster, getting some papers notarized and running errands. You know I’m dying to know too!! But the fact that she was really working on it for 8 months tells me we were at lease getting quite a bit of new stuff. I expect LCMM/RDMH because it’s Vegas but I would love to have known what she would’ve done. I’m curious what her costumes were too!! She always outdoes herself with the next show.
