Thanks for posting. It made me check my status. I, too, have been refunded. I hope she gets herself healed and well enough to continue the Courage World Tour in March. Am disappointed I won't get to attend the opening night of the theater/her first night performing in 18 months. But my credit card balance looks a lot nicer now.

 

​I may just go see Adele at BST instead. The plane tickets (which were non-refundable; I got a credit) cost the same to go to London as it did to Vegas. And the BST tickets, even the upfront Diamond section, will be $2300 less than I paid for Celine's opening night. That's a good deal right there!

Well, there seems to be a flurry of activity as far as Céline-related broadcasts go. The two I posted about in the random thread, plus the upcoming "C'est cool d'aimer Celine" series in Quebec. Possibly more to come around the release of Aline in Quebec in a few weeks.

Does anyone know if the documentary is currently filming? I would imagine they had wanted to record the rehearsals for her new show to use the run up to the opening night as a kind of structure for the documentary (rehearsalsand backstage footage interspersed with interviews and other footage). If this is the case, the project just became a lot more interesting and compelling...

 

I wouldn’t think so since it was just recently announced. I am a free lancer for Apple productions.When films/ shows first get announced pre production can last 3-5 months before filming .

I do not know either, & again, my gut feeling is there could be possibly MUCH MORE GOING ON with her health than any of us know right now!

 

Because for her to cancel 2-3 months of shows (& I read in the "News Discussion" thread on this very forum an online article that somebody posted that said "Celine could be out for SEVERAL WEEKS OR MONTHS!" & if it is indeed going to be several months, to me THINGS DONT LOOK GOOD from my perspective, sorry!) 😷😞

 

We all know Celine would NEVER cancel months worth of shows UNLESS SOMETHING WAS VERY SERIOUS! (& I am NOT COUNTING the pandemic situation of the past 18 months since not only Celine had to postpone shows, but pretty much EVERY PERFORMER in the world had to postpone shows & everything live including live sports games, broadway shows, live events, etc also stopped because of the pandemic, so it had nothing to do with Celine herself personally...)

 

But I am talking about the 2 times she cancelled/postponed shows besides during the pandemic: in 1999 during Renes 1st cancer battle, & in 2014 when Rene had cancer battle #2... & even though it was not for Celine herself, but it was to be there for somebody WHO WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO HER! So nobody could blame her for doing that either times! & now it could possibly be because of her own health! & Not saying the muscke spasm issue is not the truth, but I think there could be much more to this & we just dont know it yet... Remember in 2014, we didnt find out about Renes situation & how truly bad it was until MONTHS LATER after her hiatus started... 😥💔

Oh wow... & with her current hiatus & bad health situation, I think we might not be seeing this documentary for another FEW YEARS (maybe around 2024-2025?) 😔

 

Because I HIGHLY VERY SERIOYSLY DOUBT Celine will want to be filmed while she us sick & battling health issues, & who could really blame her? (& plus I remember both Celine & Rene being VERY PRIVATE about showing/talking much about that kind of stuff on documentaries/interviews, that is why there is VERY SMALL details about "touchy subjects" when it comes to Celine & her personal life, & considering how we have NOT HEARD VERY MUCH FROM CELINE during the whole pandemic, I dont think she will start the filming of this documentary UNTIL SHE IS FEELING BETTER & BACK ON STAGE! Sorry but trying to be realistic... I just DO NOT see Celine filming anything while struggling with health problems, especially knowing how VERY PRIVATE Celine is (& even moreso since Renes passing, she is more private than ever!) 😞

I have no clue how or why she was the spokeswoman but I imagine ParisMatch approached her somehow and she basically said, “yeah she has problems with her muscles but all is well” and now it’s a thing. I certainly don’t think ‘they’ wanted or nominated her to say anything - I could be wrong, but it doesn’t make sense for them to want her to. There was an official statement and it should have been left at that

I don't think there's a feud, not at all. But I do think Celine probably would prefer Claudette to STFU, she just doesn't have the heart to ask her, since it's Claudette's chance to get a bit of spotlight by association (and Claudette is her godmother, after all.)

I didn't know Andrea Bocelli was a big enough name for Vegas. I know he is world-renowned, but I would have thought the US domestic crowds wouldn't turn out for him. Clearly I was misguided.
