Yeah, pretty sure those were all fakes. IDAN sounds like a mix of Vegas and TCWT. And no way would Celine put DUAM in an English show. There are two songs off of SSD that I could see her putting in: TLBSEPT and SSD.

She can’t stop everything without losing lots of money because of her contract with AEG. She’ll eventually have to come back and perform. Maybe she’ll have to make it a more stripped down show where she sits a lot? Maybe four months of physical therapy will have her back in top shape.

 

I would bet all the money I have though that, once her current contract is up, she’ll make fewer appearances and won’t perform giant tours anymore. Think more Streisand - a 25 city world tour with $1500 ticket prices.

 

We might get more albums though if she can’t perform as much. If she can’t run around a stage, she can sit and record.

Yeah, remember in an interview Celine said that the songs that she recorded for Courage and were not selected, they would try contacting the producers and writers to ask if they could still release them. She also said she might release back to back album. She looked confused though.

A unknown disease that prevents her from everything now. At first Vegas had been cancelled but now also the tour??? Where is the original source?

These tabloids pieces are a dime a dozen.

Started with French tabloids running amok, now getting bot translated into other languages. I don’t understand how people waste any time on this junk.

It’s either this, or antivaxers claiming she’s got severe vax symptoms.

Gotta love all these Facebook doctors diagnosing on the basis of a one-line press release blurb and a Claudette interview.

 

Seriously. A lot of people lacking basic news literacy.

 

The fact that this stuff gets clicks, gets spread as successive tabloids regurgitate wild conjecture from others, gets taken in any way seriously and even gets posted here… well it’s just staggering.

These tabloids also provoke to get more news from the original source. They put out wild theories in the hope of a response. To be fair, the news was very sudden and they gave very little details which was obviously going to cause a stir.

 

Even Hello commented this week that Celine has not posted about her sons on their birthday which is very strange.

I agree and see all the reactions that all believe this news. This is spreading fakenews. My friend send me this on WhatsApp with the text - Celine cancelled the tour . I already told her this is fakenews but there are also a lot of people who believe this!

Either way I do not have a good feeling about her health right now and if it has big consequences for her music career. Let’s hope she speaks out soon in a video message. We need to see her instead of written messages by her team. Hope we will hear more in the upcoming months.

That way she can just put an end to all that garbage “rumors” out there in the French tabloids. I understand sometimes it’s better to IGNORE false stories but when they are just going crazy with this garbage you have to get ahead of it and speak out. And the fact that she hasn’t (yet) just adds fuel to the fire. Celine where is your management team? Instead of wishing TTWII a happy birthday, they need to act…. This is where Rene is sorely missed. If you remember, she never recorded any video talking about the tour being postponed due to COVID either. Which I found exceptionally strange, especially considering she recorded a message for Montreal fans during the CWT when she had those few dates to postpone due to illness. As seen here:

Judging by that video and past behaviour, I think she finds it too emotionally painful to face the fans and tell them she has to cancel shows. I always felt she was very genuine about how sad she is to let fans down re: cancellations and postponements.

 

Does that mean she shouldn't still go ahead and record something? Or that her management is tip-top? Nope.
