Yes, I don’t think she’s ever looked worse in an interview. And she didn’t have to look that way, the makeup and tan are mainly to blame.

I have a quesion, if her contract ends by 2026 or so and her not doing any shows up until March of next yr (Fingers Crossed ) would she have to extented her contract alot longer now that she has been out for 2 yrs

Probably not 2 full years. The the theater itself wasn't even set to open until November. If Covid hadn't happened she would have finished the tour and then started Vegas in November when the theater opened. The only thing Covid impacted was finishing up the tour. She was still set to honor her contract to open Vegas next month. Only reason she canceled was for medical reasons. I doubt they'd make her extend for missing 2 months worth of scheduled show blocks.

 

The big question here is when she will actually start Vegas. She had tour dates already scheduled after Vegas was supposed to start....and no other Vegas dates announced as of yet had she not canceled. So if she just starts when she would have otherwise just resumed the residency, I don't think that would be an issue.

AEG demands so many shows in the contract. So she doesn’t have to necessarily extend Per se, but she will have to make up those number of shows…I’m guessing when she does finally start up in Vegas she will do a few extra shows per scheduled block of shows, this way she makes up for it and is still on track for the contract to end on the same time frame of the calendar year.

Anyone else think that her spasms may not be related to anything she’s experienced in the past? It might just be something totally unexpected in a random part of the body, not necessarily her voice or back. There might not have been any underlying issue, at least that’s the sense I get from the tone and wording of the statement she/TC released - that they were taken totally by surprise.

 

 

I don't believe so. If I had to guess, I would say it's probably lower back spasms. Celine has experienced this many times over the years. I think it all stems from when she was hit by a car when she was very young. I remember reading a magazine article a long time ago that said that when Celine was hit by the car it bent her spine. I don't know how true that really is, but it would make sense if that were true. I also remember reading an article that Celine has arthritis in her spine that she's had her whole life.

 

Celine also has short muscles in the back of her thighs compared to the length of her thighs. Maybe that was caused by the childhood trauma to her body from that car accident? Who knows, but it appears to me that Celine's back issues probably are connected to that car accident as a child unfortunately. That's my opinion anyways.

Remember Jimmy Fallon? That was her best look from 2019 according to me, she looked radiant and young. The dress was elegant. My homies said that she looked like a queen(which she actually is lol). They should do that kind of look more often.

I’m not saying it’s not to do with things she’s experienced before, it could be. The lower back problem is probably the most logical assumption given the (lack of) information that we have. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be that. It’s never too late to develop new health problems and any part of the body can be affected at any time regardless of what happened in the past. So I was just wondering why no one assumed that it could also be random.

As long as "we, the people" don't know her diagnosis, it will remain a mystery, as in: what causes the spasms.

We know of symptoms, not the diagnosis.

I get your point, but I think the proper word is something like 'undisclosed'....but even then, Celine and her team disclosed the symptoms and they weren't vague about it. And the line between diagnosis and symptoms is sometimes blurred or meaningless.

 

I feel the news org was trying to make it seem like a more exciting story or intriguing story than it is. But that as only during the first broadcast, in the second broadcast (which has wayyy more views on Youtube btw) they didn't use that kind of language. But I should spare the forum from another of my debates over semantics lol.

I can see why they said mysterious, but I think it's the more sensationalist choice of language.

 

 

Hopefully, it is not a mystery to her or her team. That would be the worst. The use of the word "unforeseen" is not comforting

OMG when was Celine in a car accident?? As a long-time fan, this is the VERY FIRST TIME that I have heard that Celine was ever involved in a car accident! May I ask where & when you have heard or read about this? I DO NOT RECALL this being mentioned in any of her previous biographies or documentaries to date...

Yeah, she had two car accidents- both in her biography. She was hit by a car as a small child playing and also got into an accident when she was driving home during the filming of Des Fleurs.

I finally got a hold of the insurance company via phone this morning - I honestly think they just keep your money unless you are persistant and complain. They have now supposedly issued a refund for my ticket insurance since the event was canceled. May not show up on my billing statement for up to 30 days. So here's hoping.

If you paid by credit card you can call the credit card company and do a “charge back” for a service you never received and that the company cancelled.

 

So much quicker and less stress for anyone who wants a refund asap and who paid for it on a credit card.

I mean… since the courage tour was delayed we really haven’t heard that much from her. I suspect it’ll be that same way. As if the Vegas show wasn’t even going to happen in the first place right now. She’ll start to pick up steam in late February I presume.
