No but we do know that AEG is who represents/manages her touring and Vegas performances. If they've got a new venue, and are no longer booking Ceaser's Palace, it would make sense they would want Celine - the most high profile current Vegas performer to open their new location in order to rake in the money.

John Meglen himself said that there were currently no plans for Céline to do another residency, because touring was her #1 priority at the moment (with the 'Courage' tour most likely also going to Asia & Oceania in 2021, all before Corona). Of course "something" might be in the cards, but that "something" can always change/have a different outcome.

I would doubt a break. She’s taking a break now and we know how much money she needs to keep buying those shoes! LOL As for the rest, I’m highly skeptical she’d do any of that. We’ll find out in time...

ehhh well honestly I VERY MUCH DOUBT that concerts - both touring & residencies - as well as other events such as live sports, festivals, broadway shows, etc, will be coming back ANYTIME soon... & i mean NOT EVEN BY NEXT YEAR!

 

i know everybody is hoping that the coronavirus will be 100% be gone by then (shoot i wish this damn coronavirus was gone like YESTERDAY!) but in reality, NOT REALLY! nobody even knows if the vaccine will even be READY by next year, & yes it is a fact that vaccines take YEARS to completed, tested throughly, & ready for BILLIONS of people all over the world! & again just because there is a vaccine being worked on DOES NOT MEAN it will be completed & safe for the world! i have heard recently that there are alot of problems with the trials right now, that alot of participants are GETTING SICK from the vaccine during these trials!

 

sorry but it is the reality that we are all still living in because of this pandemic, & its NOT gonna disappear overnight! & it has affected not only the concert & music industries & performers like celine, it has affected EVERYBODY! look @ the current BASEBALL season here in the united states - since it started in july (over 4 months AFTER baseball season usually starts,) this years season has all been VIRTUAL - people watching the games only @ home, but there are still NO FANS allowed in the stadiums! & i have heard that basketball & golf are going through the same thing! & i have also heard that FOOTBALL will be going through the SAME EXACT THING when they start their games this fall (which @ this point exactly when nobody knows for sure since baseball games, basketball games, etc are all still currently going on...)

 

heck look @ SCHOOLS in the U.S. right now... most states are doing VIRTUAL LEARNING (including majority of the public schools here in my state, maryland!) in fact @ the daycare center i work @, we have many school-aged children in our program since school buildings are still closed & the students there are all doing virtual learning! & the schools, @ least in my state, will be doing virtual learning until @ least sometime in february 2021! & our state governor might be considering everybody to do virtual learning for the ENTIRE 2020-2021 SCHOOL-YEAR!

 

sorry but with the current rate of this virus, & scientists are already predicting a SECOND WAVE of the virus this fall & winter (since here in the U.S., "cold & flu season" will be hitting upon us soon, it is usually from the months of october-april, & as a daycare teacher, it makes me WORRIED BIG TIME! bad enough to worry about regular flu, but to worry about the coronavirus, this winter has me absolute terrified!!! luckily my family & i already got our flu shots recently! because i have several family members who have immune-attacking illnesses & i DO NOT want to catch the virus & make my family sick, no way hose, nada!!!)

It's a marketing ploy so they don't detract ticket sales from the tour. If they say she's returning to Vegas, people will say okay I'll just wait til she's back in Vegas. Celine will always have a relationship with LV.

Of course, but in the past they did hint a return multiple times ("we're in negotiations", "the door is open", "we'll be back").

I have no doubt she'll return someday, but hopefully she'll be doing other stuff she's been mentioning 1000 times over the years first .

Well whether people believe it or not, members of her security team (who were hired in Las Vegas with the likelihood they would be returning back to Las Vegas after the world tour) told a group of fans at her last live show in Newark (pre-pandemic, of course) that extra dates on other continents would most likely be added for the Courage tour and that negotiations were underway at multiple locations for Vegas. At this point, who knows whether the current rescheduled shows will go on as planned for next year. Maybe she should look into a virtual tour on YouTube and doing Zoom meet and greets

She definitely shouldn’t cancel the tour. There’s too much money, people and contracts involved and already put in place. As long as there is the slightest possibility of it happening, the tour should go on. Especially when it all could just be right around the corner.

 

As for Vegas, I’m sure she will return and 2023 seems like a likely date. What surprises me is that you’re already planning a trip that’s almost 3 years away. A bit early, don’t you think?

Yea but it’s my mother 50th birthday year in 2023 and all family go to Vegas to see Céline in Vegas because it’s her dream so we begin to plan this (big) family trip 😅 (choose hôtel,month,activity for everybody ..)

yea but who even knows IF concerts & other live events (both tours & residencies,) will even be ready by the end of the year (since the vaccination proccess has just STARTED a few weeks ago, & i have read about numerous places already running out of the vaccine before christmas!!) so i very much doubt concert tours or residencies would be starting back this year... i would more bet on everything starting back up sometime in 2022...

 

according to the scientists, the vaccine has to be given to @ least 70%-80% (or more, estimated $6 billion to 6.5 billion people) of the worlds population to be vaccinated in order to get rid of covid-19 (& in 2 doses as well,) in order to have the world go to somewhat "back to normal" as it was pre-covid (2019 & earlier!!) & hopefully crossing my fingers & toes the vaccine will WORK so that we can get rid of the virus once & for all!! 🙏🤞

yea but this pandemic has NOTHING to do with celines vegas residency ending (her last one ended in june 2019, this pandemic started in march 2020, on my birthday march 11 to be precise lol, trust me that will be something i will NEVER FORGET lol!!)

I don't think they can scrap the CWT any more than she could get out of her 2nd Vegas residency. She's under contract. Money has been paid. The tour must continue...in 2022 or 2023, whenever that can happen. All of performing - every city in every country in every way - isn't going to return for a while. We've got to wait and see how successful the vaccine is, what this new variant first discovered in the U.K. will do to us/react to the vaccine. Packing people in close quarters in any sized house - whether it seat 4,000 or 100,000 - could very well be off for the next decade. If that's the case, eventually, there will be lawsuits, people will demand their money back from Ticketmaster/AEG, and not just for Celine but for every other artist out there who has simply postponed their tours, and the whole system will collapse. Good riddance, I say. Ticketmaster has had a monopoly for too long and that's why ticket prices have become insane.

 

The vaccine could also completely eradicate the virus and the new variant with it as well. And we'll all be back to our regular selves in a year or so. Nobody knows right now. Everything's in limbo. I don't see any answers for another year at the earliest.
