Guys, do you also enjoy watching the Oprah show from 2003 when she visited Celine in her LV house? Gosh, I love this show so much, I could watch it over and over again. Getting a glimpse into Celines private life is rare and interesting!

“The Colosseum will always have René’s energy”. I don’t think she would ever perform in a different theatre if she came back to Vegas.

With the way caesars is going and how much more lucrative it would be for her to go with a different resort, I think if she does go back, it won’t be at the colosseum

Also, didn’t the coliseum go with Live Nation exclusively instead of AEG? I seem to recall that being a discussion on this board a year or so ago. That would also keep her from returning there as she’s not with the promotion company that books the coliseum anymore.

I don't really know what to think about this.

In some way I don't want it again. Like she had her run and made history and now that chapter is over time to move on.

 

But also I like the setup she had in Vegas with lots of performances. But if she comes back it must be a new place if it should feel "new". And lots of work behind the scenes so it doesn't feel like the old shows but in a different venue.

 

Anyway it will be interesting to see what happens!

The Colosseum wouldn’t even exist had it not been for Philip Anschutz who paid those millions to build it.

What do you think is the best? Live Nation or AEG? Isn't Madonna - Live Nation?

I would say this is probably why the end of this residency had more hype. Not to mention the mentioning of ending a 16 year residency and their big fire works display. It was more about celebrating her than he end of a residency ad they knew she would not be come back since Live Nation toom over.

well i would love to know if Feeling's inc still owns part of the colosseum... as far as i know other than Celine all other artists performs there has to pay feelings inc too....

and for vegas they were planning to return in summer next year but now of course we don't know, they don't even know too.... lol

How do you know that they were planning to return in summer next year? Wan’t it just a rumor? One based on the opening of the Resorts World?

 

The closest we got to a confirmation of Céline’s future plans was that she was planning to add many more tour dates well into 2021 because she loves touring.

At her last show in Newark one of her security guards told us she was currently in negotiation with several venues. Sadly I don't think she'll be going back to Caesars unless they make her an offer she can't refuse. Doesn't matter if it is home or not. Celine is a businesswoman as much as she is a singer--and that's Rene's legacy right there. He would never want her to settle for less. Whatever place will pay her top dollar to perform the least amount of shows is the venue she's going to choose my friends. And you better believe that after this pandemic they will want her star power even more to draw tourism to the city.
