New Las Vegas residency show!

Celine is currently having a new home built for her and the kids in Vegas , with a huge multi level closet for Celine's many shoes and outfits. Celine mentioned it in one of her newer interviews. That is solid evidence right there that Celine will continue to have very strong roots in Vegas for many years to come. I think she will most definitely do another Las Vegas residency is the future.

 

Does anyone know any info on Celine's new home BTW? When her Florida mansion was being built we got loads of pics. Also, is her original Vegas house even put up for sale yet? I am just curious, because last I heard it wasn't even on the market yet and a particular realtor was waiting for her to list it.

Oh gosh. I can't remember which interview it was for the life of me, but she did say it somewhere recently. I specifically remember Celine talking about having a new being built for her and treating herself in this new home to a multi level closet.

It was also on the local news! Channel 5! She is moving to Summerlin!

We heard through an undisclosed source at her shows last weekend that she is currently in negotiation with several resorts. So it's going to happen in 2021 but we just don't know where yet. The Courage tour will inevitably be extended, especially if she has to come back to the US to make up the shows cancelled this week.

Celine is almost 52 years old. If she didn't do what was necessary to preserve her voice by having backing tracks and all that stuff in her shows for certain songs, then she would end up like Adele, Steven Tyler, Meghan Trainer and Julie Andrews by now. Do we want Celine to be the next Julie Andrews? I think not, so leave the woman alone and let her lip sync her heart out when need be. Everyone does it. That's the way this industry is able to keep going for so long without too much vocal fatigue. That's just fact. I would rather see a lip syncing, great sounding Celine then a fatigued Celine any day. #protectthevoice

I think she is enjoying life plenty on this tour. She seems so happy and to be having a great time. She's looking healthier and her voice is still freakin amazing. It's her therapy and passion to be on stage. If it didn't make her happy I think she would willfully stop but she gets so much from us when she's on stage. I can't think of a better feeling for a person that was born to be a performer like her. She's right where she needs to be in my opinion. I agree she might not need to do as many shows, but if you have the stamina and the talent and people are willing to fork over tons of cash to see you and invest in you, well why not then? She's worked so hard for this success her whole life and she might as well enjoy her status as a legend.

Some people retire and after a year they realize they need something more in their lives! I think after a few months off, Celine has enough and needs to get moving!

Exactly. I hate it when people keep saying what Céline should do, whether it’s how she should manage her career or how she should sing. She’s been in the business for decades and so have all the professionals surrounding her. They know what they’re doing.

I think it was time that she ended the Las Vegas residency. There were great moments but I find she has more fun and enjoys herself more when she's on the road.

I think she got out 2 years late. She should’ve left Vegas in 2017, released the new album on time and begin the world tour.

None of it. The contract ran to 2019. I expected it to get extended to cover the year she took off while he was sick, but apparently they let her off.

I won’t be surprised in the slightest if the alleged new Vegas show winds up being a rehash of the “Courage World Tour” with even more random covers thrown in. “Imperfections” will be replaced with some sleepy Sinatra cover, and “To Love You More” will get the axe to make way for a cringe-indused cover of another Stevie Wonder song complete with an insufferable 15 minute intro about why she adores Wonder so much.

Just the words “Vegas residency 2021” sends me into an immediate sleep. Boring!

 

I mean, she went there because she was inspired by the Franco Dragone show and was raising a family. She went there inspired. But now it just feels like she is hanging on.

 

But also it is artistically so deadening. Where’s the creative inspiration coming from ?

 

Side note: Did RC ever attend a normal school? Did he graduate?

I understand the decision about Vegas 2021. If you were her, you would do just the same. It’s beneficial for her in every way: financially, in terms of comfort, stability and she has a reputation there. It’s only logical that she will say yes to a good deal. I prefer that than not having her in the spotlights at all.

I would also understand it but I highly doubt that she ever actually intended to return as early as 2021. It was rumored that she wanted to keep adding CWT dates in 2021 and with the current situation, that’s bound to happen. The tour will likely continue through 2022. Therefore, I don’t think we can expect Vegas for at least another 3 years.

Same. And since we no dropping an album every other year and touring consecutively is way out of the question, Vegas is the best solution.
