AEG Las Vegas just announced yet another performer on Instagram like 20 minutes ago… we’re over here waiting just announce Celine please! LOL

So just checked and Michael Buble's Resorts World announcement also dropped at 6am PT. Seems very likely that it would happen at that time. Maybe it could happen tomorrow? Remember the Resorts World teaser was supposed to drop on April 21 last year, and it was delayed until the 22nd. Seems that AEG has been announcing a lot of shows this week. Several of their touring artists also added more shows to their tours this week for the fall.

Seems it’ll be hopefully later this week we will hear something. Or at least I hope! Maybe they’re wanting to make a big deal over Celine’s comeback so they may be getting the other announcements out of the way first? With the rate they keep announcing, it wouldn’t surprise me if she did announce this week.

 

For all we know, it could be RW getting their ducks in a row to announce it all, rather then Celine’s camp delaying it.

I think she's "open" in a different way. Rene invited the cameras all the time, Celine picks and chooses when. If asked she answers, whereas Rene had her go out. Honestly, as much as I miss her, this way is probably more healthy.

I think that is as much about where she is now in her life and career though. For a young artist you need to put yourself out there.

 

She is now a veteran performer and 54 year old single mother. Very different situation.

Right. Take a look at the Queen of Pop Madonna. I respect her, but on the recent pics she looks younger than her own daughter and she tries too hard to be hip and up to date with younger artists. I don't think that's healthy.

No dice again today. Though it's quite understandable from a couple of standpoints:

 

1) AEG announced Shawn Mendes is going on tour, so that was their big announcement today.

2) RW will most likely concern themselves with Carrie Underwood releasing a new album in June, with preorders starting tonight at midnight.

 

I guess maybe tomorrow? But then again, I don't see any chance of an announcement tomorrow because of the Stand Up 4 Ukraine event. Unless they announce on Saturday, I guess we're now looking at next week at the earliest. I hope she doesn't wait until after April 22. That's two weeks from tomorrow. I know we've waited all this time and it's two weeks, but...

I've read the signs a long time ago. That's why I kind of hold a grudge against her and her team for totally ignoring her fans, like we don't matter anymore. It's just all about the general public and ticket sales now.

I agree with you. Rene had cameras following them a lot, however, note that all that was shown us was highly superficial and without much substance. They only showed "neutral" scenes, without much deapth. Like in TTEOTW you see them visiting places or being on a safari, fans praising her etc, but they don't show anything really private or serious, no fights, no business talk etc. They knew how to make it seem like they offered so much without really offering a lot. Sony doesn't care because Celine's stremain consumption is low, so that these numbers increase in fans we need to listen more to their music through Apotify or Itunes.

Just 30 seconds already counts as streaming, I downloaded spotify again and I'm listening to asu songs over there, it's no use just watching on youtube because it doesn't count.

We could schedule a day so we could all listen to a celine song on Spotify and try to bring it back.

Agree. Aldo made her do stuff, and then suddenty he had family issues. And then Celine never really got a new real manager. Maybe she became tired of this.

A little off topic but they filmed Carrie singing her new song, “Ghost Story”, in the theatre and aired it on the CMT Awards tonight. The technical effects in the theatre are just unparalleled! I can’t wait to see what Celine will do in the place. Will tomorrow be the day she announces? Won’t get my hopes up but we will see
