I honestly didn't like her look at the Met Gala at all, I hate to say it but her weight is awful now, yes I know her dad was very skinny etc etc I cant understand how Celine thinks this weight could look good on her. Her beautiful legs that she had ………….they are no more and she looks so gaunt. She says its because of ballet, but is the ballet worth this?

I'm really glad she did the MET gala this year.

 

I like her dress but not what she was wearing on her head ( of course).

I like classy Céline, not Céline showing off.

I don't know if she ever was that thin before but now it doesn't look good at all with her aging.

Healthy or not, it is just ugly to me. I really don't want to see her without make up with this loss of weight.

 

Anyway, good for her if she feels good.

I don't think you understood this years theme. She actually didn't "show off" enough.

 

This constant complaint about her weight, or her age, wrinkles, etc is incredibly stupid. For starters the people fixated on this are complaining about things she has no control over, it's just the way she is and she shouldn't have to change herself just to please people's ideals of what she should look like. Secondly, saying ballet isn't worth the way she looks now is ridiculous because you're prioritizing her looks over her doing something that she enjoys and something that is making her more fit than ever.

 

Can this be good for her health? Of course it is. Unless she has a health condition where doctors tell her to stop exercising because it's hurting her then it can only be beneficial. Exercise can improve your energy and mood, and seeing herself this fit is making her feel even better about herself and feel younger (her words).

 

She looks great, fit and badass. And even if you don't think she does it's about time this issue is closed. Things aren't going to change no matter how many times it's brought up.

 

Can we move on from this already?

I liked Celine having gone to the Met Gala, she was beautiful and sexy.

Celine has always been thin and very thin, what is happening to her now is because of her age, when we grow older we lose body mass and this is happening with Celine, it is visible, she too thin her wrinkles appear more and she appears to be much older than her age.

 

 

Sometimes I think she does not do any treatment, she does not care much for aesthetics, I think so.

Well people tend to get wrinkles as they age. The thing is we're not used to seeing it in celebs since they do plastic surgery or botox to cover it up.

 

People age. It's natural. I think it is refreshing to see that in a celeb. Céline has probably got the genes to get some more than others and I find her brave and a role model not to fight this to the extremes.

Does anyone know what the numbers in Celine's Met Gala design represent in this picture?

 

 

It looks like there's two measurements. I am not really sure what one of the numbers are, but I think it's either 59 or 53 and than there is another number that says 27. I am thinking that maybe the 27 number is the length of her torso and 59, or 53 is her length of her body from floor to shoulders?

 

If anyone who knows anything about measurements and the process of designing clothes and could help me out in answering this question, that would be lovely. I am just curious about this behind the scenes fashion info, as a Celine fan and the process of making her one of a kind costumes.

It's on the 4th of May. She's not in the US by then but if she really wanted she could go since she has almost a month off during that time. It'd be great to see her dress in historically inspired fashion, she's got that classical European look.

Most likely she's back in Vegas w/the kids. She may have some appearances coming up for the album release but if they pre-recorded a bunch of stuff, not sure we'll see any live interviews. It's possible she might hit Jimmy Fallon and one of the morning talk shows, but Fallon is usually recorded during the afternoon so she could easily only be gone a day or two at most for this before heading back home; or back home to Montreal to gear up for the re-scheduled dates.
