She has put a little bit of weight on in the last few months. She is just naturally thin, and is probably under a lot of stress wit the new album and tour. And she dances and clearly goes to the gym (and lifting weights). She is actually ripped! And look at those legs!! Please wake up Homerton!

She says it's because of the dancing and the timeline fits. She started losing weight in July '17 (I remember commenting on it after the show I attended in Lille) which exactly coincides with the time she started dancing.

 

I honestly don't think it's possible to be anorexic and as toned as she is. Anorexia eats away muscles.

i agree she looks thin but she has her father’s build. He was also that thin. Have to say she looks quite thin nowadays but i think she is not anorexic.

If we look for photos of Celine from 2016 we see that her arms were quite flaccid and her legs without muscle.

 

She certainly was not happy with her fitness and decided to start doing exercise and ballet. It is true that she is thinner, but she is toned and does not look sick.

 

In some pictures, however, her face looks old for her age. Best make-up and hairstyle would make the difference!

This topic of Celine being too thin is utterly ridiculous and offensive. Celine has always been thin. Do people forget this or something? I know it's been awhile, but come on. It hasn't been that long since Celine was this thin. Has anyone ever stopped to think that curvier Celine was actually the unhealthier version of herself? Celine put on weight after Rene passed and that wasn't healthy in my opinion, because she is naturally meant to be thinner and those extra curves were most likely brought on by the stress and sadness she was going through at the time.

 

Now she is her natural, thin, healthy and happy self again. This is the way she was pre twins and pre cancer stress. This is Celine at her healthiest and people just need to deal with it already. Either that, or jump in a time machine and restore your memories or something, because Celine has been this thin for most of her life.

 

I don't like to comment on weight, but this has to stop. These comments need to stop, because it's disrespectful to talk about Celine like this. We are her fans and we don't need to go around bashing her appearance and talking about her weight. This is Celine and we need to all accept that and move on to talking about her music or something more productive. There are far better things to talk about.

So ever since New York Times posted this at the beginning of the week, I've been waiting for them to follow-up with this pic... come on NYT, let us see!

It’s probably the picture from Michel’s wedding when she was 5. I’m pretty sure that was a blue dress with white gloves. (Celine almost never tells new stories about her childhood. She has her scripts and stock anecdotes and doesn’t stray from that.)

I watched several YouTube fashion reviews and most people agree she was well-dressed.

 

I liked the costume, but personally did not feel it did nothing to flatter her aged looks. She looks like an ostrich in many of the pictures! But still, no one can deny the outfit was ‘so Céline’. It’s kooky and different, and I think the public appreciates that she’s unique and confident above all else.

off topic: I saw Denise Truscello was bothered (a little angry it seemed) with a fan account that posted a picture of her's without credit. The fan just stated ctto (credit to the owner). Is it just me or is it weird to be angry at a fan account for posting a picture of Celine without giving credit? I'd understand getting angry if a professional media outlet didn't give credit but a fan account seems a bit much. Especially since most times these pictures have been circulating so much that who the owner is gets lost along the way.
