Maybe because she was saving her vocals for the Taking Chances World Tour.. and for the last few shows of A New Day... which i remember that someone said that her voice is a lot better in the last few shows of A New Day... And the promotion was all recorded in November 2008. It seemed to be after her “shaky” performance on The X Factor in 2007 that she lost confidence. Hmmm I dunno about that one, because she did nail the song in the end! There was nothing wrong with her voice, it was her earplugs/monitors thingy that gave her problems. She got a lot of praise afterwards for being able to sing so well without earplugs and just by ear. But there are so many great performances of her like singing live in Oprah 2007, GMA/The Early Show 2007 (BYLM), Ellen 2007 (BYLM), Dancing With The Stars 2007 (MHWGO), D’elles 2 TV Special [May & June 2007], Star Academy (2007-2009), Benefit for the Saint Justine Hospital Centennial 2007, and many more. I really love the 2007-2009 era. For me, it’s like everything is perfect. And she goes to many countries in this era like Monaco, Germany, Italy, and many more to promote the new album.
