stevo Posted June 11, 2019 at 02:30 PM Posted June 11, 2019 at 02:30 PM I think Céline needs to hire a creative director for this upcoming tour. You know.. just to be sure that it will not be the continuation of Summer Tour series. It should be different like big prod again like TCWT/AND She's said that they are 'working on giving the fans something special and the most incredible, beautiful show, something they've not seen'...so fingers crossed 5 Quote

Tyler1991 Posted June 12, 2019 at 02:07 AM Posted June 12, 2019 at 02:07 AM (edited) With an album release a solid month after touring starts what sort of impact will this have on the setlist for songs off the album? Initially i was hoping for a MINIMUM of six new songs to be performed. I hope it isnt as dismal as EUS in 2016 when she sang three songs off the album but mostly didn't sing the new ones on that tour. Edited June 12, 2019 at 02:08 AM by Tyler1991 Quote

So for the first month the people get an old set list then November hits, the album comes out and BAM! the rest of the tour get a new show with new songs from the album?? Lol! I'd be a little torqued off, just sayin'. How does that make any sense? Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Like 2-3 new songs when she begins then she could put some different new ones in farther down the tour? I mean she could always mix in new ones in! We know she believes in doing the hits, lol. 1 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
ryba Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:05 AM Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:05 AM (edited) Guys, look at this video at 0:25 min https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=BNYbmUiV7Fg This is exactly the stuff I want to see with her songs on the Courage Woruld Tour! Be creative, add new, rock arrangement, make it edgy, not orchestral! I love TPOL like this!!!!!! Would be a great opnener or interlude. Gosh, how I love what they did with it!!!! The style of the show should be JUST LIKE THAT, not a snoozefest a la Celine 2011-2019 Edited June 12, 2019 at 07:08 AM by ryba 1 Quote
AdrienneM Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:06 AM Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:06 AM Most likely she will perform around 3 new songs in September, FOMO and another single plus (probably) Courage. Then in November she will add 2 or 3 more into the mix AFTER its been released Quote

fred Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:18 AM Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:18 AM (edited) To me her setlists are always best in the first concerts then degrades from there. I see no reason for her not to have new songs from Courage right from the start. But for us to expect that she'd sing a large amount of songs from the new album would probably make us very disapointed. We've learned from the past that that's nit the treatment her new and current material gets. Edited June 12, 2019 at 07:18 AM by fred 1 Quote Peace and love to all.
AdrienneM Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:31 AM Posted June 12, 2019 at 07:31 AM Well TCWT she served up 5-6 songs per night on average. She still performed 2 of the new LMBTL songs on the french tour and continued to perform LMBTL and Incredible for over a year (incredible stayed way too long though) Quote
MLowery855 Posted June 12, 2019 at 10:50 AM Posted June 12, 2019 at 10:50 AM Hey, so for people who have been to any Céline world tour before, I’m the type that likes to get up and dance and stuff at shows and hates sitting down the whole time...so do people stand up for her up tempo hits usually like TTWII or I’m Alive?? I’ve noticed on some vegas footage that no ones standing for either and then there’s like 2 or 3 people who stand and dance but then they sit down like halfway through ya know... just curious I think you should sit unless specifically called for. I was at the final Las Vegas show in the second to last row of rear orchestra 6. I was alone, but I sat next to this very sweet older lady who was wearing a knee brace, had a cane, and had a scooter parked just outside the door. The couple in front of us would NOT sit down. They stood for a good 90% of the show for no reason. I wanted very much to tell them to sit down, but I also didn’t want to be forced to leave the final show. As I shared elsewhere, I saw the residency show Celine 45 separate times. I preferred to sit in row A of whatever section and that’s because of how many people stand for no reason. Of course, I was the one who never stood even when she asked... frankly, I am there to hear her sing and not to participate. I can’t dance anyway. lol Quote Celine in Las Vegas, CWT in Atlanta, Louisville, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Raleigh - 55 shows attended Show #56 & #57 - Paris - 9/12/2026 & 5/15/2027

On both the 2017 and 2018 tours her voice got stronger as the tour went on. Examples being Leeds in June, Marseille and Berlin in July and Glasgow in August 2017 and the 1st Taipei show, 1st Sydney show and 1st Auckland show in 2018. All later dates yet produced better vocals as it went on 3 Quote
fred Posted June 12, 2019 at 03:39 PM Posted June 12, 2019 at 03:39 PM Glad for her if that's the case! I am thankfully not too picy with what chape her voice is (unless it's too nasal like the AND years). For example I thought she sounded fine on the Tokyo show but many other fans complain. For me, it’s the sound quality. Her mic voice is very raw. It’s a bit close to her performance in HDAMLF when she sang it for the first time (remember posted on her FB) the sound quality is bad. You can even hear the noises from her mic because of her hands. The sound quality sounds rough Edited June 12, 2019 at 05:44 PM by jpatdeleon09 Quote

There was quite a bit of editing and reverb added to certain parts of specific songs like RDMH high note, TT high notes, The Reason G note and LCMM high notes too Quote

It sounded rough. Yup, it’s raw. It’s not dubbed. Then, they added some effects but still it sounded ehh. It should be pro like a new day dvd (edited/unedited) This is the example of the sound quality that i’m talking about (back in a new day) it has something to do with smoothness of the sound even if she just speaking. It sounded more open, wide, like surround... https://youtu.be/FhOS1ARweS4 Then, compare this to her tokyo show. You’ll hear the difference Edited June 12, 2019 at 08:05 PM by jpatdeleon09 Quote

I thought it sounded okay too, BUT Céline always sounds a bit shaky during the 1st show of any tour/run.I think it's more nerves and wanting it to be perfect and maybe also some technical stuff which would be tweaked later on.. I remember the first show of the 2013 tour in Antwerp. Vocally she was amazing. But she was shaky, she wasn't really there and had problems with her in-ears and mic. The 2nd show was the very first time she sung with a wired (Shure) mic again since the '90's.
