Their emails come from a generic email address (scwebfrancebillet@francebillet.com), but they're identified by a case number, so I don't know that emailing them at that address will help - but you never know. At least they confirmed receiving your information.

Okay, so my review that you've all been waiting for, haha. First, the bad; My friends didn't want to spend a lot, so we ended up getting nose bleed seats. The view wasn't bad, but the monitor in front of us didn't match with the sound being played, and trying to get a good photo or video wasn't great because the spotlight washed her out most of the time. I also wish I had stayed more in the moment instead of trying to get a good pic or video.

 

With that being said, the show itself was great! At the beginning, the audience cam was catching everyone dancing, both young and old. There was an older mom with a Celine shirt next to her son with a Metallica shirt on, and the camera cut back to them multiple times while they danced, and the whole crowd cheered every time they came on. I sat with one of my friends next to me, and then 2 more friends were also in attendance elsewhere in the arena. Within 1-2 songs, both of the other friends texted me to say they were in awe and had died and gone to heaven. The friend next to me had goosebumps multiple times throughout the night, and kept mouthing, "Oh my God,"and clapping and cheering. She also cried during Courage. Afterwards, she said it was one of the top 3 shows she's ever seen and had so much more respect for Celine.

 

Celine's voice was great though, even at 51! I didn't notice many audible cracks in her voice, if any. Like David Foster said many years ago, you don't really get the power of her voice until you see her in person. It seemed like everyone respected her by the end of the show, even the husbands who were dragged along by their wives, lol. They were converted, just like the rest of us!

 

And yes, Lying Down was added back in the show, as previously mentioned.

 

I also bought the black long sleeve tour shirt with the album cover on it, and wore it to work today. It was $70, but hella comfy! I recommend seeing her if you haven't already because everyone had a good time. Especially the two drunk girls next to me singing every word she sang too.

Omg, just scrolling through this topic and I saw you were at the Detroit show. I was there, and like you my parents and I were in the nosebleeds. It just so happened that exact day was my 17th birthday! Damn, how was that almost 4 years ago? The show itself was amazing! Considering I’m blind I cannot comment on the visuals, and I don’t know if I had the best seats, but I know I heard her clearly. I do have the full audio. I’ve shared it around a bit but if somebody is interested I can provide a link. Vocally she was on point, songs like If You Asked Me To, the Prayer, and River Deep were quite strong. I agree with others who think the announcement and Celines statement werent so grim.

 

She said that touring is difficult even at 100%. To me, this hints that she has her eyes on Vegas once shes in a better place.

 

There were enough positive words used in the announcement that make me feel hopeful.

 

We do have every hope that someday soon, Celine will be able to come to all of these cities in Europe to perform for her amazing fans, but that time simply is not now.

 

If she were in terrible shape, they would not have said this.

 

Im glad that Celine can just focus on her health without those pesky tour dates looming over her. ❤️

Perhaps you can try reaching out to them on social media? Some (not all) companies are responsive to that, as those are run by marketing types that care about the image of their company.

France Billet have confirmed the payment was sent from their Bank, BNP Paribas so I’m now in the process of complaining to them and I hope they will investigate what has gone wrong in the process.

Have they sent you prove of the bank transfer? I don't think they have even done it, they are just trying to blame the bank. I've read reviews online and there are countless comments on late refunds, or no refund at all after months.

However, my UK Bank has confirmed that the payment was never received and that BNP Paribas has to begin an investigation as to where the money has gone. However, actually getting France Billet to understand that is impossible!

Update: I had actually received the money from France Billet in June. They answered my email yesterday informing that the transfer was made on June 1st and I actually got it on June 8th. It says nothing about concert refund or France Billet in the bank transfer, just a bunch of numbers, that's why I missed it completely

Even with all the hiccups, it was still a memorable era in Celine’s career with some great moments. She was really in her groove before the pandemic shut everything down.

 

It’s nice to see the tour featured at the end of Love Again… seeing Celine in her element as an iconic diva is a nice payoff since all of her acting scenes are pretty low key.

I agree that the setlist could have been better... but it really only needed a few tweaks to be really great. And general audiences seemed to love it.

 

I loved how they opened the show with It's All Coming Back To Me Now. That was epic. The solo version of The Prayer was gorgeous. They resurrected If You Asked Me To. And even though she didn't get to perform all of the shows, it still grossed over 100 million dollars.

I went to see her in Antwerp in 2013. Great trip.

 

I suppose it is a bit strange that she chooses a Flemish speaking city in Belgium to base herself there and of course brings the French show. But then when I saw her in Bern, in German speaking Switzerland, she asked the crowd if we wanted her to speak in French or English and everyone shouted French.
