For those who have seen her performing "Lying Down" live. How was it in person? I mean, the fancam sounds really different from the sounds we are hearing live. I know because I have seen Céline back in 2018 and she sounds better in person than on fancams.

I don't mind her lipping the chorus of Lying Down. She can do it like Flying On My Own where the only lipped part is the Chorus

This lipping solution must be very difficult to handle. You always have to remember the parts of the songs that you have to sing live as well as the timing. I imagine that dealing with this live on stage in front of thousands of people must be really demanding and difficult

I thought she sounded great when I heard her perform that song! I saw her in Detroit, which just so happened to be the last time she performed that one. Usually I’m very critical of her, but by the time she was recovering from her sickness, that song did not sound as bad, I think we could’ve gotten some decent performances of that in 2020. Even the reason or think twice could’ve been decent on a good day in 2020. However, I have to disagree about lipping the chorus of laying down, it’s a new song, so it needs to be live. I don't think Celine ever sounded bad in person. No fancam can deliver the true sound

Well the way she hit the “I can’t hear you when you speak your poison” was differently, almost in a falseta type, which could be why it sounded good, although not as strong as the belt. I’ll share the audio here so you can see what I mean.

I’ve been listening to some of Celine 2020 performances the last few days, and I’ve really begun to appreciate them even more now. Vocally a lot better than 2019. Someone recorded the full San Antonio show and it was on YouTube for a long time. I just tried looking For it again but I don’t see all the videos. Am I missing something or were they removed?

I haven’t quite looked for alternative sources for those, but I was planning to find as much audio for as many of the different concerts as possible. Considering the fact that videos can be taken off of YouTube at any point, I want to make sure that at least audio can exist. The mostly complete or complete concerts that I have done or can do at the moment are

I seem to remember it cut off before MHWGO. A full Cleveland Recording existed, but I think I’ve been able to find mostly better audio for that, as the full bootleg was recorded by somebody that screamed a lot.

I have all the shows you mentioned, can't say if they are missing couple of songs but I see that the folders of those shows are pretty big. Cleveland and Columbus were her first US shows however not her later 2019 ones and Montreal 2020 has 2 shows, 18 and 19 February. I think I have more vids for the Febr 18th show. Google Drive would be perfect! That’s actually where I store basically my entire Celine bootleg collection. If you wanted to, you may be able to convert them to just audio, I am blind, so for me personally, the video wouldn’t make much difference lol.

About “france billet” ticket, did someone receive the refund? I’m still trying to get mine, but it seems impossible, I can’t contact them. Their website says my tickets are refunded, but it aren’t.

I've had the worst time with them. They won't refund to my credit card because it's been more than a year. They refuse to accept that the US doesn't use the IBAN system so I can't provide them with an IBAN number - they just keep repeating the same thing over and over again. I tried to give them a different option for a bank account in Ireland that they could send the refund to, and they said they couldn't accept it because it wasn't my name on the account - despite it being me providing the info and giving them permission to refund the money there.

 

Essentially, they've stolen my money and are finding every reason imaginable to avoid giving it back.

One of the particularly disappointing things about the covid and later SPS delays and cancellations, is the loss of Celine's planned appearance at Les Vieilles Charrues. No, I had no tickets nor plans to be there, but was very much looking forward to Celine in a festival environment. And seeing Shania announced as one of the headliners for Glastonbury makes me all the more sad about it.
