I hear ya!

 

It would be a month to Celine’s Glasgow show if all were normal with the world 😢

 

I’ve spent a lot of time recently watching fan made full concerts on YouTube and rewatching a lot of my live DVD’s which has helped me get my Celine fix but just makes me desperately want to see her all the more as well.

 

I worry about the likelihood of the shows resuming in the spring of 2021 but we must live in hope 🤞🏻

 

Since I’ve been doing the same, I’m curious: have you been watching much from the second Vegas show? I have a hard time getting through those, no matter the version. Maybe because I listened to the fan captured versions for so many years? “Celine” the show just isn’t holding up for me.

I haven’t watched any of Celine’s Vegas shows so perhaps that speaks for itself 🤷🏻‍♀️

 

I’ve watched Une Seule Fois DVD, Sur Les Plaines DVD, Hyde Park fan made on YouTube, Live 2017 (filmed at multiple venues to make full setlist) fan made on YouTube, Live 2016 fan made on YouTube and Taking Chances DVD both English and French setlists.

That’s why some fans here who have the chance to watched A New Day live (in person) is so so lucky. They said it’s much better to see the whole visual there than on the DVD. But even on the DVD it’s already beautiful. So what more when you are actually there. That’s why i want Céline to do another A New Day show. Maybe i can watch that show now

Kind of surprised they have not released dates for North America yet. There is no way she can do N.A. now until fall 2021.

 

I have my doubts Paris will happen in March. That will likely be pushed out to summer 2021. She could possibly do N.A in late August or September 2021 dependent on ho this goes. If Paris doesn't start in March they'll likely try to fill in gaps in summer that she's off. U.K is slated for mid-April and that may be a no-go too...

This is a project I worked on in my spare time, during which I sought out YouTube videos from the Courage World Tour that had consistently high audio quality. I wasn't necessarily looking for the best performance of each song but rather for listenable audio quality. Everything has been tracked and edited to flow as close to seamless as possible. Some of Celine's longer bits of dialogue and costume change videos have been excluded. (I know how much everyone loves listening to the intro to You're the Voice! /sarcasm) The different tracks were taken from concerts in Albany, Atlantic City, Baltimore, Brooklyn, Miami, and Newark. This is far from perfect...but I've been listening to it nonstop and it brings back great memories of seeing her in person. I hope you will enjoy it, too!

I have seen the courage show on youtube now many times and would i have known how uninspired this show is, not in favor of the new album, i would not have bought my ticket.

I have seen Celine several times and those were memorable moments but this current show.. My best friend wanted to experience a Celine concert so we bought tickets and in my excitement - because Celine raised my expectations for This setlist - i bought another one but sold it. And i still wonder if the show will go on in 2021.

i know how you feel, even though i know we are in a pandemic (& lords know even when, or IF this will be over & done with,) i really do MISS CELINE as well... not seeing new pictures of her or of the boys (because any pics that had been posted by her team since march are all PAST PICTURES taken before the pandemic, such as the "courage" album photoshoot from last year, so those pics DONT COUNT as 'new',) & not hearing her voice since the lady gaga "stay-at-home concert" thing back in april (which was now going on 5 months ago,) REALLY IS SAD & I MISS HEARING HER SINGING TOO... & yes i know we have her past videos on youtube & past albums & songs & all, but it still sucks not hearing her or seeing her now... it is like she has 'disappeared & vanished into thin air' somehow...

 

& it hits home for me nowadays because all of it happened right before what would have been MY VERY FIRST CELINE CONCERT in washington DC back in march (but we all know was cancelled because of the pandemic & it was on my birthday too...) 😞😰💔

 

& one of my biggest fears (besides the pandemic & coronavirus itself of course, as my family & i do not want to get in contact with the coronavirus @ all as several of my own family members have compromised health issues as is already,) is the thought of what if things DONT EVER GO BACK TO NORMAL? what if there are NO VACCINES for this virus & the world CANNOT get rid of this virus permanently?

 

i am NOT trying to be a 'debbie downer' or anything, but i have read several articles in recent months that there might not be any effective vaccines to treat this virus & that what the world is going through now might be "OUR NEW NORMAL", (that quote was created NOT BY ME by the way, i have read it in numerous articles quoted by scientists & media outlets during this pandemic, & the "our new normal" quote is being used more frequently in recent months, just google it & you all will see what i am talking about real quickly, i am not making this up!) if any of this does indeed happen to us, will we have anymore live concerts (or festivals, movie theaters, stadium sports, broadway shows, disney on ice shows, etc,) or because of the coronavirus, it will be THE END OF ANY LARGE GATHERINGS as we know it? if so, will that mean that we will not see or hear from celine again? because we know she really does not like recording as much as she used to (& it seems like judging by the very poor sales of "courage", there would be no reasons for sony to have celine record a new album because of poor sales, & the money has become more & more into touring anyway for the past 10 years or so...) as a long-time fan all this make me really worried... 😰😞💔

yes exactly! i very much DOUBT that we will be getting a vaccine anytime soon, or IF @ ALL! because i have read several articles recently comparing this current coronavirus to other virus, such as the SARS virus, the 'swine flu', & even HIV/AIDS, & the articles have mentioned about how NONE of those viruses have any viable working vaccines TO THIS DAY! the vaccines that they tested for those other viruses that i named did not work & therefore never released!

 

now i am NOT NOT NOT saying it will be 100% the case with this current virus... & right now NOBODY knows if it will or not @ this point... but what i am trying to say is, there is a HUGE POSSIBILITY it could be though... because it has happened with other viruses in the past...

 

& if that does indeed happen, i am wondering if it could be THE END OF ALL LARGE GATHERINGS - CONCERTS, THEATERS, STADIUMS, etc?????? that is the point of my post... & if there will be no more concerts, tours, live shows, etc, i am wondering what everybody would think our girl celine possibly be doing after all that happens? because lets face it, we all know she is not into recording albums anymore (hence why we go 6 years between them now, that has been her pattern for 13 years now since "taking chances"!) & plus she has been only recording albums as an excuse to tour (as it is very 100% apparent to what happened with the "courage" album, that album was mainly created as an excuse for a new world tour, especially celines first in 10 years & after finishing an 8-year las vegas residency, the existence of "courage" is to go on a tour!) so i am thinking this whole coronavirus mess might be the end of celines music career, & she might either go into early retirement, or go into something else professionally, like the "lifestyle brand" stuff that she has already started a few years ago (the purse collection, the perfumes, the "celinunu" clothing thing, etc,) or just do something else alltogether? hmmmm 😬🤔

Not until probably two weeks or a month before the show. They’ll want to wait until the last possible moment to see if the government will allow it.

Lara Fabian show at Centre Videotron in Quebec City is still scheduled for December 5th, 2020 but I highly doubt the government would allow it. The same goes for Celine shows this fall.

I think it's clear there is no way this tour is going to resume in March 2021 even with the rescheduled dates. Possibly May or June for the re-scheduled dates but I think for sure all March and April dates are likely to be pushed out again.

 

North American dates are likely not to happen until late summer/early fall 2021. If i were her team I'd be eyeing October 2021 for the rest of North American and rescheduling Paris and the UK until Late summer.
