browseceline Posted July 18, 2020 at 06:58 AM Posted July 18, 2020 at 06:58 AM I agree with people about the concerts. I think it's way too soon to open up concerts and Live events now or anytime soon. I believe it's only 50 people allowed indoors to gather in Ontario starting July 17th and 100 gathering outdoors. I guess if there are any concerts, it would have to be outdoors and widely spread apart. I wouldn't feel comfortable going to any type of gathering anytime soon that's for sure, but I do like the Drive In concert idea that has been talked about and shown to be done recently. Now that's something really cool. That is a much safer way of gathering because everyone is kinda in there own little protective bubble of there vehicles. I am totally behind the comeback of the Drive In!! I think that when concerts do resume again, whenever that is, everyone should for sure have to wear masks and shields and be temperature checked at the doors before entering the venue. Everyone should also wear hand sanitizer and remain 6 feet apart at lineup and during the shows. If those key things do not happen I will be very concerned about a 2nd wave. I would already be concerned about a 2nd wave even with those safety measures in place, but I know we gotta get back to normal at some point. If these guidelines are followed by everyone, than I think we should be safe for the most part. Knock on wood. The main concern is everyone following these rules. That's the key factor in controlling the spread. There should be consequences for anyone who doesn't wear masks and shields at any upcoming concerts. Hopefully they would be turned away at the door anyways, but there needs to be very strict rules and everyone needs to follow them to keep not only themselves safe, but the entire world. It's crazy to think that this whole thing started in China and now it's everywhere. That just shows how powerful and fast the spread can be. not only that, masks should be put on in the right way - last week i saw a woman in the bus wearing her mask only over her mouth and chin, completely exposing her nose! And she is not the first that i have seen wearing it wrong.. Danystar Posted July 18, 2020 at 08:54 AM Posted July 18, 2020 at 08:54 AM Exactly! It’s Céline classic and truly a great song. Probably most casual fans who attended the Courage World Tour shows thought “shame she didn’t perform IDAN”. Also (not really relevant) I actually don’t mind her doing covers, especially the ones she recorded. Only one IDAN can replace whole medley. it will be much better for the fans 1 Quote

Danystar Posted July 18, 2020 at 10:01 AM Posted July 18, 2020 at 10:01 AM I would even prefer the old Vegas prerecord. But only to include the song in the set list. 1 Quote

Perhaps that's the reason North America has not been rescheduled yet. Be interesting to see what happens for Paris set to re-start in late March 2021. Maybe Europe will be a bit different. 1 Quote

Dancing_Queen Posted July 19, 2020 at 11:54 AM Posted July 19, 2020 at 11:54 AM (edited) 8 months is a long time, no one can say for sure what the world will look like by then. There is a good chance we might have a vaccine by the end of the year (I'm reading Pfizer feels confident enough to start production even though they're still awaiting approval). But of course, it could be overly optimistic. Unless you're an actual scientist, your guess is as good as mine. Either way, I don't blame TC for securing the dates and venues. I did the same for my job (securing resources before we were sure when we could start activities again) and it has been a blessing. Now everyone is clamouring for the same resources but of course they're fully booked... Edited July 19, 2020 at 11:54 AM by Dancing_Queen 2 Quote

mb011 Posted July 22, 2020 at 03:07 PM Posted July 22, 2020 at 03:07 PM I have opted for a refund for a rescheduled Zagreb show as the new date is not good for me. I have sent in the ticket as required, but still more then one month later i am left with no ticket and no money. The organizer say it is due to a bank delay, the bank says otherwise... Anyone has any experience in these situarions.? Quote

anewdayhascome Posted July 23, 2020 at 05:18 PM Posted July 23, 2020 at 05:18 PM Has anyone here managed to return/cancel ticket for Tel Aviv, Israel? It seems that you can return tickets for all dates everywhere but Israel. I am keeping my other tickets and I've seen on various websites new, cancelled by someone, tickets reappear for sale in France, Holland, Poland, etc. so you can buy some great ones actually... If not, if there is anyone interested in 2nd row center block for the second Israel date please let me know. The rescheduled date just doesn't work for me. couldawouldashoulda Posted August 11, 2020 at 11:50 AM Posted August 11, 2020 at 11:50 AM HAHA! I feel you. I’d love to attend a Celine concert. Unfortunately, we’re both gonna have a loooooooooooooooooong wait. I’ve been watching a ton of YouTube concerts of hers - whether professionally filmed ones or “fan cam” ones. It’s been helping. I went back and watched opening night of CWT - even though I attended it, I’d forgotten about some of the French songs she performed because I normally watch the English version. 1 Quote
Jeanette Posted August 11, 2020 at 12:54 PM Posted August 11, 2020 at 12:54 PM I hear ya! It would be a month to Celine’s Glasgow show if all were normal with the world 😢 I’ve spent a lot of time recently watching fan made full concerts on YouTube and rewatching a lot of my live DVD’s which has helped me get my Celine fix but just makes me desperately want to see her all the more as well. I worry about the likelihood of the shows resuming in the spring of 2021 but we must live in hope 🤞🏻 Quote
