Popular Post Céline RO Posted June 24, 2020 at 08:56 PM Popular Post Posted June 24, 2020 at 08:56 PM (edited) I have just finished improving the tour’s Wikipedia page. I even added all the different setlists! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Courage_World_Tour Now let’s see how long it takes until some moron decides to undo all my hard work. Luckily, I’ve got all the code copied onto a separate document so I’ll be able to redo it instantly (unless I get banned). Jeanette Posted June 25, 2020 at 11:33 AM Posted June 25, 2020 at 11:33 AM he 5,000 tickets that were put on sale for the Festival Des Vieilles Charrues as part of the Courage World Tour were SOLD OUT in less than 120 SECONDS!!! The show will be held next year July 2021! Was this an additional 5000 tickets released for next year’s festival performance in addition to those already sold for this year ie through cancellations etc?? Quote

I hope everything’s back to normal by then but if winter brings a second wave, who knows 🤷🏻♀️ I just don’t see her postponing again, I reckon she’d cancel this time unfortunately 😞 Quote
couldawouldashoulda Posted June 25, 2020 at 01:22 PM Posted June 25, 2020 at 01:22 PM Yeah saw this too and it only adds to my anxiety about next year, I'm wondering if spring next year is still too soon At first, when new dates were released I was relieved the UK dates were rescheduled for 1st third of year as I thought we'd have to wait until last 3rd of next year but after reading this I'm not so sure. I hope everything's back to normal by then but if winter brings a second wave, who knows ♀️ I just don't see her postponing again, I reckon she'd cancel this time unfortunately Yeah, anyone who thinks they can definitely start planning on things like concerts, Broadway shows, sporting events being attended live in giant arenas by next spring is probably in for a very rude awakening. Anyone who’s reading the news for leading scientists and epidemiologists can see that they’re beginning to say we’re going to have to learn to live with this virus for many years, possibly a decade. Doesn’t mean that...because we’re on a Celine Dion message board...Celine’s Courage World Tour can’t continue but it probably won’t be able to continue in the venues it was in pre-pandemic. OR, they’re going to have to upset a lot of people by canceling their tickets because they’ll have to keep everyone spread 6 feet/2meters apart. I get that these companies want to get back to making money...as well as hold onto people’s money and not allow refunds by rescheduling the shows. But the chances of CWT starting in March are about 20% at this point. 1 Quote
nuts2you Posted June 25, 2020 at 02:33 PM Posted June 25, 2020 at 02:33 PM Do you think this could work for the ending of her CWT ,instead of Immortality , Or Imagine , Quote

I think there are songs of hers that can fit for the final/surprise song at the end of the show. The question is which song? Quote
couldawouldashoulda Posted June 25, 2020 at 02:44 PM Posted June 25, 2020 at 02:44 PM Imagine is perfect for the closing song of this tour. Especially with what's going on in the world today, not just the virus. Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted June 25, 2020 at 02:49 PM Posted June 25, 2020 at 02:49 PM (edited) I’m curious if “Your Song” will be also great for the surprise song at the end. I heard her sing that song before on CTTEOTW (even though she did that on rehearsals) and she did sound good. Remember this? Edited June 25, 2020 at 02:51 PM by jpatdeleon09 Quote

Céline RO Posted June 25, 2020 at 07:03 PM Posted June 25, 2020 at 07:03 PM As expected, an idiot reset all the edits I had done to the Wikipedia page. I got a message saying that I will be banned if I continue. I tried arguing with them but they’re ridiculously sensitive to attacks. Apparently, I can’t change the tour dates section layout because I’m making it difficult for people with visual impairment However, I’m not giving up so easily this time! I already changed the setlist section again and I’m already making several new accounts. Quote The best is yet to come...

An old guy (he’s been a wiki editor for 14 years!) who’s a massive fan of Britney Spears and various TV series. He thinks he can control every article about entertainment out there. He needs to learn to leave Céline to people who actually care about what they’re doing and are more knowledgeable than him. Especially considering every single other page she has related to a residency or tour has every applicable set list variation and detail, like the TCWT which has every single different set list variation for all the dates... so why in hell should the CWT one be different? He needs to get a grip 2 Quote

They seem to be doing incredibly well in terms of dealing with and suppressing this virus as it comes. We’ve suppressed it well in Scotland because we’ve stayed in lockdown way too long but the cases will rise exponentially again once we go back to near normal and as our first minister is being extra cautious, she herself said, it would be many months before live events could resume but we shall see how it plays out. Same thing here in NYC. We’ve stayed under lockdown so long that the virus stopped spreading as much. But the USA as a whole has seen cases drastically rise when people in other states started gathering in groups again. Perhaps that’s why they’re putting off rescheduling her USA dates for now. 2 Quote
