It's very strange because "je m'ennuie d'être sur scène avec vous" means "i am bored to be on stage with you". I know that's not what she means and that she means the opposite. But it's a very strange wording.

Yes this is annoying, specially for people traveling. I will need to ask at least for an extra day off for the concert in Amsterdam.

Could be so many reasons but i think it is her decision to not release those.

I don’t believe that, otherwise there wouldn’t have been advertisements for it. It was a last minute decision. Something must have happened. I wonder what.

Well I would have tickets for the first 2 nights...and techincally I do... but I can't be there those 2 nights. Only the last 2. Damn it. This is going to be a giant pain in the #ss.

Do you have tickets? I want to go to the first one, on march 19.

I do not understand with concerts being that far away they could not arrange a saturday anyway. The saturday concert was sold out but the wednesday and Friday ones still had had enough tickets.

Not in contemporary French. Maybe in Québécois French.

A difference between European French and Quebec French. S'ennuyer in Quebec can also mean "To miss".

But "cela m'ennuie" does mean "it bores me" in Quebec too.

You can't switch them for the last shows in Paris? Might be complicated though.

Contemporary french? LOL and not just in Quebec :

I thought that, too. After all of the many hours I spent cancelling my trip this summer, I really don't want to go through several more. I'll just hope that some tickets come up for her last show. If not, I'm seeing Avril Lavigne and she won't perform BYLM...so I guess it evens out.

I have many different exemples. It is difficult to show them because I am on my phone. Here they say it's "vieilli" (old fashioned) and they show exemples where it means the opposite.

If it was bored, the sentence would have been « ça (or cela) m’ennuie d’être sur scène avec vous »

Really not the same thing

Hmmm Google translates it as "I miss being on stage with you" (I checked in English and Russian) :hmm:

I don't speak French though, but I think Google doesn't use Quebecois dialect.

Google does not even suggest "I am bored" in alternatives...

Does anyone know why the Monaco concert was canceled?
The best is yet to come...

Seeing as my show in Bucharest was rescheduled to the very end of the European leg, they better not do any of their usual setlist shortening!

That was the first thing I noticed. Especially since I remember how sad I was when she canceled her birthday show in 2018.

I'll send a message to Avril saying a big fan really wants her to cover BYLM... :giggle: Edited by Xpresso

Yep, new dates are a real disappointment, was contemplating all along seeing her in Glasgow and somewhere else in UK but not an option now with these weekday dates! She’s clearly had to work round the venues availability hence the rubbish weekdays. Let’s face it how many other artists have had to reschedule and have already announced tour dates for this time next year so it’s no wonder really!

I said it's old and literary but not wrong. If you have read the link I send, it says it can mean one thing or another depending on the register.
