Interesting. Now I’m curious when the other shows will be. Also, I wonder why they moved the Berlin show to the Mercedes-Benz Arena. I mean, it’s obviously the better venue and will allow them to do the show properly, with the full stage and visuals, but it makes me wonder just how bad the ticket sales must have been. The Waldbühne has 22000 seats and presumably most/all of them were on sale for Céline’s show. The Mercedes-Benz Arena only holds 17000 people and in Céline’s configuration probably more like 11000. Surely sales couldn’t have been that bad. Maybe that will change? Or maybe a second show?

Waldbühne very rarely actually has the 22,000 seats available, most of the time it’s around 17,000. As for why they changed venue, it could simply be that the time they’re rescheduling to wasn’t suitable for using that venue or that they realised that the Mercedes Benz Arena is just the superior venue

It has been very likely changed due to the weather. The initial concert was late in summer. Now, we will see her in May.

I prefer the change though. The stage will be much better now!

With all due respect, considering what’s going on in the world right now, I seriously don’t think anyone should be giving two sh!ts what happens next in the Celine World. There are way more pressing matters going on.

BUT we all do got to HANG IN THERE right now... because even tho it might seem like it right now, this pandemic WILL end eventually & will not last forever!

 

& right now there is NO UPDATES for celine or for anybody to give @ the moment when it comes to when concerts, sports, festivals, etc will be rescheduled because most of the world is opening things up in PHASES, i know in some places in the U.S. (including my state, maryland,) we have BARELY "dipped" our feet into PHASE #1 of the covid-19 recovery... & lord knows when we will be able to reach phase #2! & concerts, festivals, sports, etc are the very last phase of all! so right now nobody truly knows anything as far as whats going on, & unfortunately there is nothing to update @ the moment... 👍

I agree but at the same time it's hardly anything we can do except wait. You follow the guidelines the government announces nothing more to do. I don't think anyone isn't aware or care about covid.

In a situation like this you can't be serious all the time. I mean there is talk about firing people at my work and that concerns me but don't/want to think about that all time cause it's out of my hand anyway. I think you have to relax and do what interest you otherwise I think you'll go nuts or get depressed. To be in here and wonder about re-schedules, lip synch etc is more of a fun problem which give me a break from the real problems. Imho of course.

I think it's gonna be the same, at least at first. Not just because Celine and her team seems to be happy with it but also for lack of time to rehearse, after all it's quarantine time. She can't be with her band right now.

 

Maybe one or two differences but don't expect much.

 

BTW, I know most of you want to see the tour keep going next year but, for me, that kinda sucks, for several reasons: she's not going to sing Courage songs; I truly believe that, despite our expectations, there will be no more promotion to Courage album whatsoever; even if had any, last face it: Courage is old news. By the time the tour restarts it would be like a year old or more. The chances to revive it's next to zero. Now we're going to be stuck for about 2 years+ with a unsuccessful album, with no new single and a tour that is already boring everyone.

 

I would prefer for her to drop everything and start a new era, with a new single, new album, new tour.

I think there will be some changes. First, I think we might get new outfits and maybe a new hairstyle for Céline as I can’t see her not wanting to change her look after that long. As for the setlist, I don’t think we’ll see any major changes except maybe some more new songs and, if the tour begins in Europe, “Think Twice” (and maybe some other song too) will be added. If the tour begins in North America, the setlist will likely not be very different, hopefully one or two more Courage songs but that’s it.

That’s my biggest fear. They always cut the best songs. On this tour they already cut “L’amour existe encore”, “Regarde-moi”, “Terre”, FOMO, “Lying Down” and “The Reason”.
