I can understand she hasn't come to South America yet, many artists come here with their tours, but there are many others that don't (Mariah, Shania, to name a few of her same generation), but for Spain and Portugal I find it really strange. I don't think she'd have problems selling tickets, even Mariah's been to Barcelona and Madrid recently, and we know she struggles to sell big venues. Maybe they were not interested in Celine in the past and now are still negotiating, and that's why they haven't announced it yet. It's not the first time they add dates after the official announcement. I really hope she visit at least Spain and Portugal. As for South America, I see it quite difficult now, maybe Brazil, but the economical situation in many countries is not good, and she's a very expensive artist to hire. Here in Argentina, for example, It'd be impossible to buy a ticket.

Yes, for sure! Imagine, an average salary here is about $25.000, Luis Miguel charged something like 7.000 for his VIP tickets. If you see Celine VIP numbers in dollars, here in Argentinian pesos would be more or less $50.000, almost two months of salary to pay one ticket. I know sometimes promoters make tickets cheaper, have a lot of sponsors, etc, but still Céline is a very expensive act to pay here. Less than 15.000 I don't think it'd possible.

This issue has been going the same for us for decades,

so now I'm just waiting to see the robbery prices they are planning for us.

I already can see how people (mainly casual fans) will be in shock and upset given how expensive the tickets are going to be.

 

It not happens only with her shows, but I'm upset that in her shows (good seats for the incondicionales fans out there)

became more of a dream than a reality - mostly for those who can handle the prices.

I was there the night that picture was taken (I'm in the photo). I can assure you if there werte empty seats there weren't many. It was full.

That picture was taken on Sept 21st, the 3rd night in Quebec.

 

Remember when Scott said that the concert would have an “intimate moment with just Celine and her audience” have we see this yet or could this be a change for the English setlist?

I'm wondering if he meant her starting the show rising up from under the stage and being alone with the band behind the screen.

Wandering around Montreal today I made the rash decision to keep mine and come back. Not booking anything until she is definitely back and well.

 

From what I can tell I turn up on 18 November with the ticket for 26 September and they let you in. Is that right?

 

Yes, if you present original ticket it will be valid in November.

Still finding it kind of strange at the lack of stadiums she’s performing at in Europe. Maybe they feel the tour is better suited for arenas? Was betting on a stadium tour of the UK if im being honest, was thinking they’d use BST as a guide of if she could or not. Also, shame shes not doing Croke Park in Dublin

I hated Croke Park for TCWT if I’m honest! It was too big, sound wasn’t great and people were just sauntering about. Lovely seeing so many people in one place for Céline but it definitely was my least enjoyable of my thus far 9 Céline experiences! Like Darren said before, also, with the lighting and staging etc, doesn’t work as well outside in the summer where it’ll be light in Europe to 10pm or later. She obviously could fill Croke Park again no probs, but I’m happy it’s an arena this time round.

 

Ps Pray for Belfast - and I think we should spam the arenas in Spain and Portugal and get a response as to why she’s not going there.

True, I think with how the entire show is done visually, it is 100% configured for arenas only, except for the case where they have a retractable roof ala Sweden, in which case stadiums are fine

I'm glad she's doing arenas in Poland. Evenings and nights in May can be really chilly and an open stadium would be a bad idea.

 

I'm not sure I get the ticket sales schedule.

On the website it says the TC pre-sale is on the 30th, and the public on-sale on the 4th of October whereas the Polish organizer says the pre-sale's on the 2nd. Is it possible that there are a pre-pre-sale (TC), a pre-sale (some Polish thing) and then the on-sale? That'd mean that the pre-pre sale would be done through a different website than the pre-sale (?)

Had to buy one of those stupid packages though (at least I hope the goodies are nice).

I've seen a LOT of people on social media say they won't attend because they were so disappointed in the 2016 show (because it was so French-heavy).

In Belgium (as in Switzerland, I imagine), she'd do well to advertise if a show is (mostly) French of English.

It's 60/40 dutch/french.

Not to mention Antwerp (where she always does her concerts) is in the dutch-speaking part and dutch-speakers hate it when international stars assume they all speak French (historical reasons ).

The tour itself was all advertised in French and apart from Antwerp she was visiting only french territories, it was also kind of assumed around the time when the single for EUS was dropped that this was an EUS promo tour, And if I remember correctly the post she made on her site announcing the first 2 Paris shows as well as the two Antwerp shows, it was all announced in French... i also of my own accord in early 2016 assumed this was a promo tour for the then unreleased french album
