Same here I turn 40 on 3rd July 2020 . . no concert on that date but thinking could do a city other than my home one Manchester - would love Paris but want to hear all the new english tracks!

Why am I getting a gut feeling “Imperfections” was slated to be added tonight in Montreal to tie in with the music video’s release? If so, the timing of her illness sucks even more.

 

Things they should have had finished long before the tour started...

 

Celine hinted in one interview that the other 13+ songs weren’t definitively chosen...

 

Talk about making it up as you go along.

It seems like she’s avoiding the whole Southern Europe for some reason... No Spain, no Portugal, no southern Italy, no Greece etc.

But she will do Malta and Cyprus so I don’t know anymore...

On a Romanian website it said she will be performing “A New Day Has Come” (along with obvious ones such as MHWGO, BYLM, IACBTMN). They also said that she will perform ALL three of the songs released last week.

Well according to a trustworthy site, the show is only for 3,000 people. If we take Singapore last year as a basis, they had an audience of 6,000 and the prices were from like $350-2,200, so if we double those prices for a smaller show (as they try and maximise profit in smaller shows) and in a crazy expensive place...

Looking through Monte-Carlo Live Place du Casino (Casino Square) has "open-air" concerts...maybe for more than 3000??

 

I may just have to go to a Paris show... but Celine on my 40th birthday in Monaco would be aahhh-mazing!

They don't know anything about the future setlist, they just write what they think is going to happen.

 

Also, the Monaco show isn't a charity event? I don't know why I just assume it was.

Probably promoter or arena issues. She can’t just show up at at arena and set up camp, I presume they didn’t want her bad enough or didn’t have a good enough offer. She may also be too expensive for Spain/Portugal!

Maybe they dont think there is demand for her (promoters) or maybe there hasnt been an offer either party is willing to accept. We’ll never know

I saw lots of people going into the ticket counter at Centre Bell earlier. Maybe you could try popping in and asking for help.

 

Wandering around Montreal today I made the rash decision to keep mine and come back. Not booking anything until she is definitely back and well.

 

From what I can tell I turn up on 18 November with the ticket for 26 September and they let you in. Is that right?

I can understand she hasn't come to South America yet, many artists come here with their tours, but there are many others that don't (Mariah, Shania, to name a few of her same generation), but for Spain and Portugal I find it really strange. I don't think she'd have problems selling tickets, even Mariah's been to Barcelona and Madrid recently, and we know she struggles to sell big venues. Maybe they were not interested in Celine in the past and now are still negotiating, and that's why they haven't announced it yet. It's not the first time they add dates after the official announcement. I really hope she visit at least Spain and Portugal. As for South America, I see it quite difficult now, maybe Brazil, but the economical situation in many countries is not good, and she's a very expensive artist to hire. Here in Argentina, for example, It'd be impossible to buy a ticket.
