This is surprisingly in-depth and thoughtful for an ET interview! Or maybe someone talked to her and said, "listen, you've got to actually answer questions, not just sing through every one"!

 

I'm a little confused though. She said in another interview recently that RC is still being home-schooled - but I thought he graduated high school, no? Or is he taking online courses or something like that?

I'm glad he's still managing to have a fairly private life. Largely going off social media seems to have been good for him, otherwise every post would end up in French tabloids. As it stands, all we know is what she chooses to tell us. A good thing.

 

Great interview actually. She did sound sick though. I’m not surprised that she postponed shows. It’s clearly the right move.

I thought the same thing, really good for a ET interview! I like the way she carries herself in this interview, it’s almost like she’s shy and excited at the same time. I loved how she said she’s okay with the criticism because she chose this life and it comes with it ( even tho these people really need to leave her be about her weight)

 

My big take away tho from the interview... go back and watch when the interviewer says, “René would be proud”, you see Celine’s lower lip quiver, that really had me sad for her.... because we can clearly tell she’s still in mourning tho she tries to be strong in recent interviews.

 

And so nice for RCs girlfriend to have Ms Celine Dion fly her out to Montréal and spend a few days with the family, I’m sure Celine is so good with her.

I totally agree. I thought I was the only one who had seen the lower lip quiver. I am so proud of her right now, because she now proves that she is strong and totally able to move on with her career and life. At the same time her heart is still with Rene. She still wants to make him proud. She still finds peace talking to him at night with the twins, and above all it's so clear that she is not ready to date. I find it sad that people ask her about dating , when it's so obvious that it hurts her. In the future its totally possible, but right now as she said in the A to Z interview, her heart is so full of the love that Rene gave her, that she is just fine alone with her kids. I wish people would respect that. In the future who knows, she may change, and things might change but right now, as the song says "That's the way it is'

She looked a little taken aback and sad during the Lorraine interview when the guy was making jokes about her dating again. Her face changed, she looked uncomfortable and then said very clearly “I don’t date”. People are insensitive.

She gives much fewer details in general about the kids than she used to, and I have a feeling RC asked her to talk about him less. She seemed to take a long time to think about what to say before talking about the girlfriend, and I think she was trying to figure out what was ok to say that RC wouldn’t mind being heard around the world.

Interesting, the stage for Paris is not the same as the other dates of the tour...

Quite a few of the american shows didnt show the catwalks either during presale time (some still dont), however when general sale went on (or actual presale for these Europe dates as 80% of them arent even on presale yet) the actual seating plan was available and you could choose your seat wherever you wanted it.. calm down, it’ll be fine

 

According to the seating plan for Amsterdam and Antwerp, Europe WILL have catwalks

I'm also a bit stressed for tomorrow, because I buy tickets for a friend of mine and myself for munich. And we have to look at the prices, though we want to have still good seats. But anyway, I can't wait to see Celine

So from what i see (apart from maybe the festivals shes doing?) Her Stockholm show is the biggest single show shes doing. Her seating plan shows her audience is a little smaller than the Stone Roses, and they had 53,000 at their show, so possibly around 40-45,000 for Celines show there

It’s a smaller venue .. but I hate going to shows there unless I’m at the front, as I just feel like I’m a million miles away from the stage.

 

I’ve been to a few shows there, up on the tiered seating & hated it .. but that’s just cos I’m fussy about being far away.

 

I was front row for Céline when she was there in 2017 & hope to try for that again for both dates

This is from the Glasgow date. Max 6 per transaction. I think that’s often the case for shows. Any more than that, I think you have to call the group booking lines.

3Arena is smaller but it is still huge

 

Also 3Arena ticket prices are gonna be more expensive than UK ones it seems

I'm doing LA - only one show though because I'm trying to save money for Paris. What I'm annoyed with is that for LA the tickets are being sold through AXS instead of Ticketmaster. Looks like the standard floor seats are $275. I don't see any VIP package prices listed yet. AXS fees are usually a bit lower, but last time I used AXS, you still couldn't hand select your exact seat and that's a bit frustrating.
