scielle Posted September 28, 2019 at 11:22 AM Posted September 28, 2019 at 11:22 AM Omg https://www.etonline...ew-dates-133341 I hadn't seen this whole interview- learned so much lol. RC has a girlfriend! Loved how she spoke here. She gives so much time to people. This is surprisingly in-depth and thoughtful for an ET interview! Or maybe someone talked to her and said, "listen, you've got to actually answer questions, not just sing through every one"! I'm a little confused though. She said in another interview recently that RC is still being home-schooled - but I thought he graduated high school, no? Or is he taking online courses or something like that?I'm glad he's still managing to have a fairly private life. Largely going off social media seems to have been good for him, otherwise every post would end up in French tabloids. As it stands, all we know is what she chooses to tell us. A good thing. 2 Quote
Alice Posted September 28, 2019 at 11:25 AM Posted September 28, 2019 at 11:25 AM It seems that for most venues the ticket prices and seating plans are available no sooner than the pre-sale starts. So, surprise, surprise, everyone. However, as it was pointed out in some previous posts, you can get an estimation of the prices in your country based on the prices elsewhere. Quote

Taking Chances Posted September 28, 2019 at 01:36 PM Posted September 28, 2019 at 01:36 PM Why is the Courage album not bundled with the European leg of of the tour? I'm fine with buying it on my own, but why is it only bundled with the US tickets? 2 Quote

I'm fine with buying it on my own, but why is it only bundled with the US tickets? Because the US shows are taking place whilst (and were sold in the build up to) the albums release, that and in the US if you sell album copies with the tickets they count towards sales of the album, also, the Europe shows dont even happen until 6 months after the albums out... so... thats why Quote

When an album is bundled with tour tickets it's already kind of shady to consider those sales of the album, so why not go all in and fully exploit that in the European market as well? Even if the album is coming in November, a lot of people still aren't gonna buy it, but they will buy tickets. It's seems like a huge lost opportunity when they've already gone down that road. I thought the same, seems a bit unfair!! Yeah, particularly when a lot of those people aren't gonna buy the album. Most causal fans will probably stream it these days. I am not sure, and I can't find it right now. But I think it's forbidden in Europe to 'give away' an album with a concert ticket. But again, not sure I didn't know that, that's news to me if it's true. I feel like every artist is bundling their album with tickets these days to boosts their sales. Quote

Xpresso Posted September 28, 2019 at 03:04 PM Posted September 28, 2019 at 03:04 PM I think only the US and Canada allow this bundle thing to impact the charts. If it would be allowed in Europe, I'm sure most artists would take advantage of it. Quote

Frozen_Phoenix Posted September 28, 2019 at 04:46 PM Posted September 28, 2019 at 04:46 PM One thing that stands out for me about this tour is her performance of "A Vous". I like that they picked that song...unexpected (apart from the rest of the setlist ;-)). 1 Quote Et la vie glisse sur l'eau du tempsLa vie resiste, prend son elanPour un baiser elle peut se poserLe temps qui compte est toujours compte http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f248/ARMOIT/celinechances-1.png

I thought the same thing, really good for a ET interview! I like the way she carries herself in this interview, it’s almost like she’s shy and excited at the same time. I loved how she said she’s okay with the criticism because she chose this life and it comes with it ( even tho these people really need to leave her be about her weight) My big take away tho from the interview... go back and watch when the interviewer says, “René would be proud”, you see Celine’s lower lip quiver, that really had me sad for her.... because we can clearly tell she’s still in mourning tho she tries to be strong in recent interviews. And so nice for RCs girlfriend to have Ms Celine Dion fly her out to Montréal and spend a few days with the family, I’m sure Celine is so good with her. 3 Quote

Well, really, no. We can make that kind of shortcut yes, let's say that her whole repertoire could have been written by a 12 years old, or we can make nuances. There are cheesy songs, with basic lyrics about love. And there is A vous, it's 2 different worlds actually, even the idea of A vous is full of demagogy and when this demagogy is expressed the same way a child would do, that's when it makes you feel unconfortable. Not speaking about the production of this song that remains at the same level. For me, Je ne vous oublie pas has this same feelling, just that the melody is let's say, less cheap. 1 Quote
Highres Posted September 28, 2019 at 08:56 PM Posted September 28, 2019 at 08:56 PM With ticket on sale announcements from previous tours, does Celine tend to announce extra shows to fill gaps? An obvious opportunity would be a second Manchester show on the Saturday and a third London show on the Saturday, It makes sense from a commercial perspective to keep Saturday shows up their sleeves until later, as they are easier to sell. Does her tour schedulers have a tendency to do that and if so how long after the initial onsale time do extra shows get announced? I.e. minutes / days / weeks? Quote

Looking at the tour dates, there are no examples where Céline does three nights in a row as would be the case if she did a third London show. But I guess she is used to performing 3 nights in a row in Vegas? Is Ticketmaster the only ticket site in the UK being used? I love the O2 arena in London and I like to pick my block but ticketmaster won’t let you do that? Quote
