With coloring the clothes for older kids look a bit better. But the baby collection with skulls and symbols is still creepy, sorry.

I’m not trying to compare these things overall; I’m just saying with “Miracle” it was beautiful flowers and themes with babies with soothing lullabies . Then we get Celinununu we have skulls, and Illuminati symbols for newborn babies. To me seems odd from the same person even tho it’s been like 14 years. I never thought I’d say this because I wasn’t a fan of it but I prefer the “Miracle” direction better.

“Miracle” was about the creation of life. Which honestly, when you look back at it; also had nothing to do with gender. Newborns all look very much alike, and gender was never mentioned throughout the “Miracle” concept. It was truly just “look at these beautiful little humans.” Now, CelineNUNUNU is celebrating life existing, and not immersing or forcing a specific ideal on children. I truly don’t believe that there is any more motive than that behind this campaign. So, the designs are a little darker or goth like. Celine didn’t come up with the designs herself. It was always the theme of NUNUNU. Maybe Celine just likes the designs; or better yet...maybe she’s let her children decide what they want to wear. I don’t see the clothing to be so risqué. I also don’t believe that Celine would allow her kids to wear something she believes to be offensive, just because they wanted to wear it. I understand that fashion and art are subjective. But for some people above to point at it and say that anyone putting their children in clothing like this should re-evaluate their parenting, truly need to re-evaluate the art of minding their own business.

I get what your saying, I just personally can’t get behind the designs and I’m not only blaming Celine. I don’t think this campaign of gender equality is a bad thing, on the contrary; I think that’s a great message and I fully support that. My problem lays with the company nunununu and their work BOTH from the past and current. I don’t care for their work and he’s jm sorry I feel that they have an agenda behind these dark themes. Thus is why I said I can’t support this, I personally wouldn’t dress my kids in 99 percent of their stuff, and not for the gender neutral reason. I wish she would have teamed up with a different line to get this message through, but oh well.

However, Celine has made her decision to partner with this company, I don’t care for it, I’m not buying anything... but IM only one person she doesn’t need me and I wish her best with this project, I’m gonna prefer to sit out of this one and wait for the next project she does! Still a huge fan and it’s okay we all don’t like everything she does, I’m sure doesn’t care!

Just saying that both are "fairytales", i.e. none exists but in our imagination.

Skulls are merely skulls. Some likes it, other do not: taste and colours are personal.

But that's it, not more.

So we're waiting for new music from Céline since 6 years ago, and here we are, talking about babies' clothing and a throw back to the Miracle project with babies too, which happened more than 10 years ago. Okayyy...  :confused1:

It's like living a dejà vu with the dull experience that Miracle was in 2004.

Celine and babies and clothing again. I'm sick of it. Needless to say she can do with her career whatever she wants and jump on the projects she likes, but me, as a fan, I've also the right to say I don't like this side projects of her AT ALL

Célinonono :innocent:

Btw, those of you who were nuts about the "new order" thing, you are in a treat because they just posted this pic today :hmm: :giggle:

And more creepy with those two women and Céline and the sign of the cross...

I find this thread quite funny, due to the intense reactions and worries (how we love Her and show our maternal/paternal instincts...)

It's just unisex clothing, with a good gender equality message behind.

Expensive? Yes, but it comes with the brand price.

Likeable? Few appeal to my taste, but to each its own.

Wearing less/certain colours + skulls/similar designs will not turn a child gay/satanist etc. (no long term study shows that, as far as I know).

The expression "new order" made me think of a kids revolution, a change of clothing style/colour scheme.

I am not denying other historical meanings, but it's not what my mind jumped to on the spot.

Sure, we can find symbols in everything that surrounds us and those prints/designs; maybe some were indeed wickedly intended, who cares?!? It will not ruin Her legendary image/status and all I will ever remember is the political idea behind this clothing line.

This line is just covering a small market nieche, one with a strong message.

Let it be.

Think of it as another weird invention, if you wish (like that smart bra that only unlocks if your body gives it the right signals; someone should invent the panty version as well :D).

On a side note, I had to buy my niece onesies from the boys section, since the colour selection was so limited for the girls...

I once bought a grey Nike tshirt with a skull, just cause it was on sale (and my brother laughed at it, since he knew it was not my style).

I could not care less about the design, nor did I associate it with me "dying" on the treadmill; it served the gym purpose and that's all.

And for those saying that the reason for Her supporting this line was money, I feel there is much more to it. She has to think flexible as a mum, she must have understood more what the LGBT community struggled with etc....

Anyway, rant over, had to vent my thoughts.

Peace and love

you say Wearing less/certain colours + skulls/similar designs will not turn a child gay/satanist etc. so then why is wearing blue or pink a problem? :giggle:

Exactly! Totally agree with CelinesDIVO5.

Sure, give your kids some video games where the character kills everyone - and let them play hours and hours a day. But please no skulls on your clothes honey!!!

If I remember clearly, the person didn't condone video-game violence either. :whistling:

And not to mention the kid with that huge black triangle on him/her and all the symbology that is behind the triangle. AND then the one eye in it... :giggle:

hhj.jpg

And this :hmm:

Cuatro%2Belementos%2Balquimicos.jpg

Aaaand I found this... the relationship between "new order" and triangles is more than evident, there's even a book published almost 80 years ago which directly shows the triangle on the cover, and it's meaning to build that "new world order" using the triangle as a pattern and measurement symbol to achieve perfection and domination

images%2B%252832%2529.jpg

So we got jumpers with "new order" message and in between, subtly, a kid with a big black triangle. Obviously the use of this brand of all this symbology it's not just mere coincidence.

Nobody can't say that this photo isn't creepy looking in addition to again with the "New Order"

All these kids look lifeless.

it is clear they want to provoke or at the very least elicit curiosity. (the designers) I guess it is good idea. We should call a marketing specialist to have an answer. Others could call an exorcist. :giggle:

Blue or pink are a social normative pushed on boys or girls to show femininity against masculinity.

Here some informations about the Illuminati society, which was founded in 1776 in Germany.

The Illuminati[1] (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name given to several groups, both real and fictitious. Historically, the name usually refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on 1 May 1776. The society's goals were to oppose superstition, obscurantism, religious influence over public life, and abuses of state power. "The order of the day," they wrote in their general statutes, "is to put an end to the machinations of the purveyors of injustice, to control them without dominating them."[2] The Illuminati—along with Freemasonry and other secret societies—were outlawed through edict by the Bavarian ruler Charles Theodore with the encouragement of the Catholic Church, in 1784, 1785, 1787, and 1790.[3] In the following several years, the group was vilified by conservative and religious critics who claimed that they continued underground and were responsible for the French Revolution.

Many influential intellectuals and progressive politicians counted themselves as members, including Ferdinand of Brunswick and the diplomat Xavier von Zwack, who was the Order's second-in-command.[4] It attracted literary men such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Johann Gottfried Herder and the reigning dukes of Gotha and Weimar.[5]

In subsequent use, "Illuminati" has referred to various organisations which have claimed or have been claimed to be connected to the original Bavarian Illuminati or similar secret societies, though these links have been unsubstantiated. These organisations have often been alleged to conspire to control world affairs, by masterminding events and planting agents in government and corporations, in order to gain political power and influence and to establish a New World Order. Central to some of the more widely known and elaborate conspiracy theories, the Illuminati have been depicted as lurking in the shadows and pulling the strings and levers of power in dozens of novels, films, television shows, comics, video games, and music videos.

So then every child should be a bunny, teddy bear or a little mouse for Halloween then? Get a grip. You people are thinking way too much into this.

Thanks Matthew, I will take all the seats, and mind my own business, as you have twice stated, I still stick with what I have said. I will not speak about this again.

It's time for that new album to come! :giggle:

It's just a picture nothing more.

It's a brand and this is how they show their brand.

If they suddenly use color and happy kids on unicorns it's not their "brand" anymore.

It's just marketing.

Do people not notice that two israeli, jewish female designers NOTED for using Jewish/israeli historical references especially the nazi era.... isn’t surprising to use New Order.

Or the fact that the term / group “New Order” also appears in the Old Testament and in the Torah..... just me ? Okay
