Brandon Posted November 18, 2018 at 11:52 PM Posted November 18, 2018 at 11:52 PM So then every child should be a bunny, teddy bear or a little mouse for Halloween then? Get a grip. You people are thinking way too much into this.Your argument or 'lack there of' holds no water. I don't even know what to reply to this weak sentence. skulls is the symbol of no matter who you are, boys or girls, black, white, yellow. Inside we are no difference. It can be creepy or not is depends on how we see it.hahahaha. nice stretch. Quote https://media.giphy....zviuO/giphy.gif
CelinesDIVO5 Posted November 19, 2018 at 12:37 AM Posted November 19, 2018 at 12:37 AM Thanks Matthew, I will take all the seats, and mind my own business, as you have twice stated, I still stick with what I have said. I will not speak about this again. Sharon It’s fine to have your own opinion on the clothing line. I’m not denouncing that. I just find it to be poor taste to judge one’s parenting, especially if the kids are happy, healthy and well rounded; just because they allow their kids to wear a skull on their T-shirt. 4 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

Just as you’re saying a child shouldn’t wear a skull face on their shirt? It falls on the same line. But I’m glad you were able to not say anything. Flymetothemoon Posted November 19, 2018 at 05:47 AM Posted November 19, 2018 at 05:47 AM (edited) you say Wearing less/certain colours + skulls/similar designs will not turn a child gay/satanist etc. so then why is wearing blue or pink a problem? If I remember clearly, the person didn't condone video-game violence either. The problem is the adults deciding on two main colours only and associating them with genders, thus limiting the options spectrum and suggesting what a little child should wear. Colours should not be gender associated. And this impacts our adult life as well, we are afraid/used to choosing certain colours for clothing. For example, just last week one of my coworkers from Far East was shocked to see a man wearing a red sweater, since back home for her men do not.I happen to find a red and black combo quite lovely for a man/woman top. We should all have the choice of the entire colour range and designs of clothing and toys. Adults assume what children want to wear, do, play with and they freak out if it’s something they never thought of: a boy baking or wearing makeup, a girl crafting etc. To name just one, the problem of a girl wearing pinky stuff and playing with princesses only will generally make her wish she were one and imagine the rest of the fairytale around her. Plenty of YouTube videos out there of little girls complaining about their shopping section... And do not get me started on the psychology of video games, based on primary instincts and needs, nor on kids books, which are mostly traumatizing to explain to a child... Hope you get my overall point, which is we limit ourselves, by creating such social norms, the colour gender association being just one example. Flymetothemoon Posted November 19, 2018 at 06:06 AM Posted November 19, 2018 at 06:06 AM My theory on why she has always had such affinity for the LGBTQ community is that she knows very well what it's like to love somebody that society tells you you're not supposed to love. True, she definitely knows what is like to not be understood. Combine that with her friends, other personal experiences, plus her EQ and you get such important flexibility, care, understanding and acceptance... Quote

Or the fact that the term / group “New Order” also appears in the Old Testament and in the Torah..... just me ? Okay For a non-English speaker, “new order” has a different meaning; think of it as a bad translation if you wish. And regarding the symbols, they just look like prints; most peeps here had to do internet search for their meaning. So on an initial view, to most of us, this clothing is just atypical kids wear, with a strong message and an “art-sy” marketing... 1 Quote

What in the world are you talking about? Your post is a rant about random stuff.... I never said I don’t like the IDEA of gender equality. Popular Post Daysleeper Posted November 19, 2018 at 04:05 PM Popular Post Posted November 19, 2018 at 04:05 PM I think it's not possible to push the boundaries and fight against the stereotypes by introducing things that everybody will like. That simply doesn't work that way. To achieve some goals in society you need to think very progressively and sometimes even shock. I think it's some sort of "reseting" the old conventional values that are in our heads. And I believe this is very well thought out. When I saw Céline commercial, my first thought was that those babies looked like they were part of the set for "The Addams Family". This kind of reaction is normal and OK for everyone of us. What I don't think it's OK is not taking some time for reflection and trying to understand before we condemn. Does this sound familiar?Actually I do like those black&white clothes with letters or stars. But it's a question of taste. Nothing wrong with black, nothing wrong with white. I'm glad Céline stepped out from her comfort zone and took some societal responsibility. 10 Quote

Art is very subjective and as Celine said herself that she is not trying to say that this is right or wrong ... it's her way, as she obviously identify her taste with the taste of the company NUNUNU. "NEW ORDER" is an absolutely amazing and encouraging slogan and I love it .. it's strong short meaningful message and people who have positive mind will see positive meaning behind this ...
