Adele is back at performing her weekends with Adele residency, I really wonder if Celine will turn up to see her. So far it’s been Katy Perry and The Stones both of which are under the AEG umbrella, I wonder if she would with Adele and also her old home at Caesar’s.

In any case, I’m glad Céline didn’t record it (I mean, I’m assuming she didn’t). It sounds just as unexciting as all the other trash that people keep writing for her (and she keeps accepting!) lately. Why does no one give her power ballads or classic rock songs anymore?! That’s where she shines and that’s the direction I think her English career should be taking. With these mediocre mid-tempos she sounds just like every mediocre pop singer. At least if they were good…

After the tending lately due the trailer. I think tonight or tomorrow would be a perfect time to make another appearance… (Adele is playing!)

Somehow I feel as if she’s purposely avoiding the Colosseum though. :hmm:

If she went the weekend before the doc airs, I think that would be a smart move off the back of the interview on June 11th and just a few days before June 25th.

Whatever happens post June 25, as a Celine fan, 2024 sounds already a good year:

- Grammy appearance,

- Canada Olympics participation

- The Vogue interviews and photoshoot, and cover (at last!!) 😍

- The documentary and NBC interview

- Set my heart on fire

- Titanique production expanding on 4 countries 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇬🇧🇦🇺 / 3 continents

Celine has two careers too and wouldn’t be able to only perform one concert for the last time.

Well she obviously could do the special, and it’s plausible that she might, but from everything Céline has said so far (and her character in general), it doesn’t sound as if she would ever announce a ‘one last time’, farewell kind of show. What she truly loves is performing for different audiences, all around the world, night after night and, regardless of how long it takes, I don’t think she’s ever going to give up on that dream and announce a retirement from performing.

The original source is the Sun in the U.K. it’s not the most reliable newspaper to say the least…

Very strange for Deadline to be reporting this without a source other than a shady tabloid. Daily Mail picking this up I understand, but Deadline? Maybe they’re just riding the wave of huge interest in the trailer and figured any Celine content right now is good for clicks, so long as they simply report on someone else’s reporting and don’t stand behind it themselves. Odd.

 

But, it seems a number of outlets are trying to capitalize on current interest in her, some reposting old content to ride the wave. Like this -

But all the 'one last time' comments need to taken with a lot of salt I guess.
