i am happy to see that the bun is getting less tight

 

also , have you noticed eddy is wearing masks a lot?

all 3 sons look a bit awkward or ill at ease?

are they introverts?.... or maybe they would rather be home playing video games or golf :)

Maybe he's still afraid of covid, even though vaccinated. When I walk around in my city there's often someone who still wears it in the bus for example

I been thinking we see after the doc airs or maybe even after Hoda interview it is announced Celine will sing at Olympics and then come fall we hear about LV.

Ever since Paris Olympics were announced I had hoped she'd be there, and ever since she started making public appearances in these last few months my spidey senses told me she would. I love the Olympics (yes, I know the IOC as an organization has many issues, but there's something beautiful about the Olympic ideal) and Celine making it her comeback performance would be poetically perfect.

 

But, if she is there, I hope it's a surprise, not something that's announced or leaked. And, if leaked, I hope it's not in the context of "this was not in the budget, French taxpayer has to foot [€2.7mln] to have these stars appear" (I've seen some social media rumblings to that effect and that would clearly not be a good look.)

 

Also, if she does do it, I hope she does the Paralympics, too. After all, there are athletes with SPS participating.

By the way, I've been following the Artistic Director for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Thomas Jolly, for a while. What stood out to me is one of his recent productions, as stage director, was a revival of Starmania.

This appears to be the article in question. And yeah, the gist is “additional €2.7mm cost to be borne by the state for star performers”, though doesn’t actually confirm who those are, just that Celine’s name has been thrown out there, alongside others.

Fabien Lecoeuvre says that “She almost confirmed it” on Sunday, in "a small interview" on the way out of the Cirque du Soleil show (?). Who would be the second world artist? - according to rumors, Nana Mouskouri, which caused rather hilarity among those present in the studio.

 

Céline's status as a global star was, of course, not questioned by anyone, but there were already those inevitable biting comments: “Céline is an intergenerational star - That's right, several generations will have to pay for her salary,” “This amount is outrageous,” “Will she sing live?”, “The people who will pay for Céline Dion will not be able to afford to bring their own children to the ceremony.”

I’d love to see a poetic return… it would be a perfect irony as well. What Celine is currently fighting through, and what the Olympics stands for.

Either way the story is picking up steam fast.

However, we must take it all with a grain of salt, bc all indications and even some sources pointed strongly at Celine attending the MET as we know that didn’t happen.

Right but was also thinking a French Canadian publication.

 

I think means she is ready to tell her story, since this comes out week before documentary. I really feel any announcement for Olympics if she does perform, will be after doc airs.

Agreed. It’s so tacky. Much as I want to hear more directly from her, I hope it’s not in Hello.

Yeah but don't you think they would want to capitalize on her being there (this is just speculation I know nothing)?

 

I like the possibility of it being a surprise but this is so huge if true not sure could keep it under wraps.

She attended The Beatles: Love last weekend.

But a small interview I haven't seen that one so I wonder who when and where this took place.

Fabien Lecoeuvre was saying a few days ago that celine was in Mexico getting treated by a shaman and that she is okay now, so maybe just because someone says something we wanna hear, or something that has strong possibilities of ending up happening doesn't mean we should be bringing his quotes here and analyzing them lol.

 

This man just likes to seem like he's in the know and he's part of one trashy show so,,
