LOL yeah that was one of the weirdest “Celine where you least expect it” stories. That, and the chef she hired after T fired him from Mar-a-Lago for making a salad.

She was wise to steer clear, she would alienate half of her fan base. She has been apolitical like how all entertainers should be. I thought she would get skewered for her comments about hurricane katrina on Larry king and surprisingly not only did that not happen, but she received a lot of praise for it

Yeah, it was mostly jabbing at those bizarre one-liners without any real assessment of the sentiment behind her outburst.

 

Though I seem to remember a F*x N*ws commentator or two opining that she stepped out of line because nobody (especially godless, liberal celebrities) should ever criticize a R***blican president. 🙄

There is a French song, that sounds exactly like I am alive, and we discussed this here before, but I forgot the title and the artist. It was released around 2005 and was produced by the same producers As I am alive

That one always makes me laugh. It's one of the best Celine spoofs out there. The best Celine spoofs find a way to mimick her unique way of speaking English, both accent and grammar.

Question : During the Rolling Stones concert, Céline was or appeared to be at the board, maybe for a very few seconds. I can't tell : was it the board for lights or sounds ?

It’s always been available here in the U.S. Not sure about other places. The 2016 BBMA performance is no longer viewable in the U.S. though. It was for a few months, maybe even a year, when it first came out though!

didnt she originally lip to the album version? That’s what I remember. So they must have changed her vocals in post production?

As far as I know, the version we hear is what was actually played. You can hear it in the audience recordings.
