Dublin was her largest sold out show at 61,746/61,746 but the Tokyo Dome was 95,510 / 100,000 and her largest single show that I’m aware of on a tour. Both were her largest shows since 1997-1999 (not counting Sur Les Plaines).

Edit: found this video online, not sure why it doesn’t feature the 2008 Tokyo Dome appearance

Tokyo Dome was 95,150 in 2 shows. Also, her shows on the Stade de France about 90,000 per show and they were sold out. How much was BST? Definitely over 60,000.

Don't know any numbers but my guess is no. If we talk only touring. I mean Wembley holds like 70-80000 people. And I can't think of any other venue she has been to that takes that amount of people. But if we count any show I think that the Sur le plains show was like a 100000 people, but please correct me if I'm wrong!

But real numbers would've been really interesting to see.

Stade de France.

Oh, my mistake! Then I guess the Dublin show was truly her largest show then of a proper tour since then. (not counting festivals and SLP)

Can people tell me if they've noticed Celine have a lot of harmonies on her vocals? I haven't heard her harmonize a lot in her vocals with any other singing partners...I mean maybe in 1995 singing "stand by me" or with Destiny's Child, but other than that?

I notice Mariah harmonizes a lot with her singing partners.

So, her largest crowd for a tour she did was in Stade De France? Followed by?

But she also performed for the Pope in Montreal at their Olympic stadium way back when, reports ranging from 60k - 65k...so she must've been one of the youngest singers to have such an immense audience. Surely it's a record. Edited by PuraVida

250000 people in Sur Les Plaines :)

Cool. Damn that's a lot of people! :) That must be the largest crowd Celine has played for. Is that the biggest crowd she has played for?

Stade de France.

Yes you're right. Didn't think of either that or Tokyo dome. Couldn't think of any stadiums she played at only arenas. I don't really associate Celine with big stadiums. For some reason I associate her with arenas. :)

I’m not sure...

Been seeing this user Airis Airis a lot on Youtube. Always commenting something about playback.

I'm curious anyone know who that is and has that been going on for long?

It has to be....outdoors, free tickets, in Quebec...there's pretty much nowhere she would draw a larger crowd. Free outdoor event in Paris maybe....

It’s been going on for years. He always comes up with bs like the fact that Céline cut her hair made her lose her voice which is why she doesn’t sing the climax of MHWGO live.

Ok so it's a known user then. Thanks!

I see people often reply to these comment and sometimes I have replied telling people that there is no idea in replying to that cause it's a troll.

I think Celine's look from the Aretha tribute will be one of her most memorable looks/outfits. It's a very career pinpoint moment for her, I feel...something that will definitely be included whenever they do a documentary of her life when she's older.

Amsterdam 1999, then Dublin 2008, then London 1999.

Amsterdam had an attendance of 65000 (?) people, it was a standing concert on the field. Why did they change to seating on the field?

Amsterdam 18-06-1997 - Amsterdam 14-06-1999 - London 10-07-1999 - Antwerpen 14-05-2008 - Antwerpen 21-11-2013 - Las Vegas 10-10-2015 - Paris 09-07-2016 - Arnhem 23-06-2017

Maybe because it’s more comfortable for the audience, they can charge higher prices or they realized that the demand is small enough that they can still fit all people in one show even with seating.

I have a few random questions on my mind today, so thought this section of the forum was the best place to post these questions.

My first question is: What is Celine Dion's skin tone? Would anyone on this forum consider Celine to have an olive skin tone? I know she tans, but I'm wondering what shade she would use for her foundation. Does anyone have an idea of which shade Celine would most likely choose with tanned skin vs her natural skin tone without a tan?

I was thinking this today, because I needed to purchase some more foundation. I have fair skin, which than for some reason began a conversation between my mother and I about Celine's skin tone. My mom thinks Celine has olive skin and almost looks Arabic, like Nelson and Eddy. Than we began a further conversation about Celine's siblings and how most of them are fare skinned. We both believe Celine looks more French/Arabic than her brothers, sisters and RC do, while Celine looks more like Nelson and Eddy.

That got us to thinking and wondering which foundation shade Celine would be? :hmm: Celine tans beautifully and I was just really curious to know what people's opinions are on which shade they think Celine would choose with a tan for her foundation and also which shade she would choose without a tan?

I also have another question that doesn't relate to my first question at all, but still relates to Celine.

Does anyone know all the names of every Celine perfume released so far?

I was trying to remember them all, because I know that Celine has something like 21 perfumes? I tried thinking of them all and this is all I could come up with:

Celine Dion

Celine Dion Notes

Belong

Belong To The Moment

Enchanting

Sensational

Memento

Spring In Paris

Paris Nights

Chic

Pure Brilliance

Signature

If anyone can think of any other perfumes missing from this list, I would really appreciate it! :) I have only tried and currently own 5 of Celine's perfumes so far. Celine Dion, Celine Dion Notes, Belong, Sensational and Pure Brilliance. I would like to own them all someday, but never knew the names of them all before, so that would be very helpful towards my future Celine fan goals! :-D LOL.

Is she still in the Perfume business?

I think so. Though they haven’t released a new one since 2014.

Thank you! :) Now does anyone know if Celine has an olive skin tone and which shade of foundation Celine would use when tanned, vs which shade she would use when not tanned? I am curious to read everyone's different opinions on this subject, Just for curiosity and to know more about Celine's makeup process overall.

For some reason in Sweden they haven't list a bluray version of this. So I've always thought this was only on DVD. So now I can buy this, yay!

Have you compared the dvd vs bluray? Is there a big difference in sound and picture? Is there anything different?

I heard an interview with Lady Gaga where she said she doesn't want to release a duet she and Cher did together because they recorded it separately and it took away from the quality.

I always wondered if it would've sounded better if Celine/Babs recorded "Tell Him" in the same studio session, maybe we would've gotten something a little warmer and different in someway, who knows.
