We also have/had at least part of a fully live performance from November 2015, Jimmy Kimmel 2019 and supposedly one from the soundcheck for BST Hyde Park in 2019 (it was on a Facebook page but I couldn’t watch it for some reason). If only more fans went to the soundchecks, at least outside the venue!

 

We also have the chorus (in original key!) from Carpool Karaoke.

I don’t think it’s available anywhere. Part of it (the long note) was in a compilation video back in 2018 and supposedly more was available on Instagram.

Her performance on that Today Show mini concert was STELLAR. I hope this forced break gives her a chance to recover some of that vocal strength... though her post-Vegas break did not :-/

I wonder how that works. If she just decides she wants to sing it live that night, or if they are secretly recording another audio track to use in a few years time to trick everyone yet again. lol.

Or maybe they have tech difficulties that’s why she just sang it live. Since even in lipping she’s still singing.. remember her IACBTMN 2018 rehearsals for asian tour?

 

No wonder even if the pre recorded track is playing you can still see her veins popping on her neck and the way her breath and jaw vibrato syncs so perfectly because she is singing with the track. Maybe in case of emergency, tech difficulties

Also, why is the Frank Sinatra all the way song only a album buy only?

it was never officially released. It was just sang once on the TV special

I don't know but I have noticed it even if she's lipping.. I can see her veins on her neck when doing it and also her breathing vibrato.. her chest also syncs that movement (I've noticed that on A New Day MHWGO at the end).

 

Now, as we can see on the video it's a proof that she's really singing along with the track.. again maybe for tech difficulties.

 

Like this one. Her sound guy mix her live voice with her pre recorded track (Skip to The Power Of Love) So, she's really singing with the track when she's lipping :)

Hey guys i was just wondering did Celines father have any brothers or sisters. Just was thinking that since Celines mom Therese has a sister who is still alive.

It helped tremendously (as Céline would say) from June to July. The last show(s) in Vegas her voice was in very bad shape. She was cracking easy notes (maybe she was sick) but then in July her voice was amazing both during the show and, of course, the soundcheck. We can’t know for sure how much it helped her from July to September though as she was sick when she started the tour but I suspect she was in really good shape during the tour rehearsals (so much so that she even decided to add “Regarde-moi” to the show, in the same version and key as in 1995 and 2013).

What to get a huge celine Dion fan as a gift?

 

My friend is a big celine Dion fan and I want to get him something. It be nice even to a vinyl. Too bad none are signed.

 

Any suggestions?

 

Vinyl is always fun! I don't even have a CD player anymore, so I've been working on my vinyl Celine collection so I can throw a record on. I especially love the dance singles and promos. They come on eBay from time to time. http://www.powerofthemusic.com is a great site for collectors, and it has a guide to how rare certain things are (so you don't end up spending more than you should).

Yes, it was Winter Song that they collaborated on. But I’m like, is Celine’s music taste more niche than I was expected to believe? For what it’s worth I always imagined she was into “oldies” ie the music of her youth and then top 40 pop ie Gaga/Katy Perry/etc.

 

But I would love to hear Céline sing “Gravity”...actually it has a similar vibe to “Courage” in my mind

I don’t know. Maybe she decided to scrap the whole thing or stop advertising it because of all the criticism? I wouldn’t be too sad because I didn’t like it at all. I like the idea but the clothes were hideous! They could’ve done better.
