No idea. She is absolutely silent and private now. We don't know anything. Not even what RC is up to now.

Which is great. She was often mocked for being too open. This is a good balance. :D

I understand her being private at this time. It's all a bit overwhelming right now, this world. And Celine is a very sensitive human being, who also just lost her mother.

Very interesting article about her place in Montreal and what they will be doing with it ,, also with her Moms place as well

Building 700 apartments behind Celine's old house doesn't seem like a good idea - and her mom's house would have to be demolished.

But Claudette says it's good and that memories will stay "within us"! If Claudette says so... :giggle:

It is a huge estate, geez how does it have room for all of that.

 

And it seems Celine has lost a ton of money on selling her various homes. Asking 30 million for this place, only getting 10. Then initially asking 73 million for he Florida home, only getting 27-28 in the end. No wonder she has to launch a huge tour!

When Rene was the manager, they actually were creative and active. She shot a music video in her own home! I didn't appreciate all that back then, now I truly do...

That’s the risk you take when you custom-build palatial mansions... Ever seen “Queen of Versailles”? It’s about a family that goes bankrupt in the middle of building their home, which they loosely based on Versailles. It’s really quite a poetic documentary.

It is a good documentary. When I watched it I was just shaking my head thinking what I could have done with just 2% of that cost, lol! That's the pitfall though, you get caught up in the money and you think it's endless. Edited by DionFanAlways

I just would’ve thought Rene/Celine were more money-minded...and they never did a bad deal.

Probably basic stuff but I've never noticed or thought about it until recently that Celine holds her mic almost always in the left hand.

My question is, is Celine left handed? :hmm:

She’s right handed. But when singing she uses her left hand when holding the mic. :)

Interesting cause I do the same but not with a mic. I'm left handed when I write but almost everything else I do as a right handed.

It doesn't necessarily mean that she lost that money on the houses. Maybe the initial prices were way too inflated in the first place. What she got is probably what it cost her, more or less. But when you make 1 million per show, she can afford to lose a few millions on a house though. :giggle:

She's mixed with which celebrity ? I have done myself mixed with Céline Dion but strangely I look like Mariah.

 

I don't think she is mixed with a celebrity, just given "plastic surgery".... she looks a little like Kate Beckinsale... but moreso like her younger self more or less

So do people go around their daily lives singing random lines from Celine music or videos? Or is it just me? I don't do it everyday, but sometimes random "files" from the Celine part of my brain will make me hum or have to say a phrase out loud lol. Usually it's not songs I've listened to within the last week. Celiniac mode..oops.

 

A typical example when I'm walking around the house is what Celine does from 8:35 to 8:40 lol...maybe it's because she's walking through her backstage Caesar's Palace "house"...not that I sound 1/100th as good. Or also the "Tonight's the night, it's gonna be alright"...at 3:18 - 3:22...I'm pretty sure she's singing someone else, so I am in effect imitating Celine imitating someone else :blush: :giggle:

Don't know any numbers but my guess is no. If we talk only touring. I mean Wembley holds like 70-80000 people. And I can't think of any other venue she has been to that takes that amount of people. But if we count any show I think that the Sur le plains show was like a 100000 people, but please correct me if I'm wrong!

But real numbers would've been really interesting to see.
