What was the point of this photoshoot? Did she just do it for fun? Was she auditioning for that movie role already back then? I remember that when she was on her TC world tour in 2008 in Berlin, Germany, people reported that she had an autition for the Callas role, but in the end she didn't get it.

This photoshoot was part of a make-up book called "Face Forward", written by Kevyn Aucoin. It was released in 2000.

Really disappointed. Was really hoping it was a new live album that I've missed. Although if it were I would probably have read about here a couple of times.

So that was a fail in hoping for that. :down:

Now let's hope there will be a Courage tour blu-ray with stunning picture quality and surround mix instead. :clap:

 

BTW have you bought any Blu-spec cds?

If so any differences compared to the regular cd like packaging, booklets etc.?

I expected a bit more as well. It lacks life, and she didn't take it to the full depths and heights of her rendition in Vegas. But her voice is in stupendous condition.

This is excellent. Although it’s cliché, this makes me want to hear an entire jazz standard album. I’d love to have studio versions of the songs from Simplement Marnay like this!!!

It was for sale a while ago on ebay.

Guess people paid that amount of money and were willing to share.

Wow! I’m sure it was expensive even if it was on sale. For the person who bought that and shared it with Céline fans. You are going to heaven. You are truly influenced by Céline’s kindness :)

Unfortunately one of the thousand is me. I left Twitter world and have never been happier! Left IG also. It's amazing, being "unplugged". :)
