Didn't the People's Choice website say that they can't wait to see what Celine will wear? That is a pretty strong indication that she might actually be there tonight! Fingers crossed.

This has made the rounds in the last few days, and deservedly so.

If you haven't seen it yet, it's really quite cool.

 

 

It's quite astonishing to see how much she sold during her break in 2000 and 2001! I know she needed it and it was the best thing she ever did, but imagine if she had released a new album in 2000! The demand was still so high! She would have deffo sold even more!

It's quite astonishing to see how much she sold during her break in 2000 and 2001! I know she needed it and it was the best thing she ever did, but imagine if she had released a new album in 2000! The demand was still so high! She would have deffo sold even more!

imagine if ANDHC would be released in 2000, it would rule the global charts!

Well, she kinda did in French, if you pay close attention to that tour promo video. 😂

Plus Steve (the drag queen) said she swore like a sailor.

Interesting!! I figured she did but it's so much fun seeing her let all these sides out. She mentioned in an interview once (I think talking about the twins) that Rene had an older, more conservative mind-set/way of thinking when it came to some things. Another interview she said he'd kick her under the table if she started to say something that might be perceived negatively and that they kept a lot behind closed doors, etc. I'd be willing to bet he kept a lot of these sides under wraps and now that he's no longer around she's slowly letting them all out, within reason (she's Celine, she's not going to be rapping dropping F-bombs every other word).

Of course. I did watch the interview but did not remember that part. Foolish of me. If I am correct, that was bleept.

Did she say the M-word (equivalent to s***) or the Enc-word or probably the Put-word? Of course, "enfoirés" does not count because it is the name of the charity event.

No...but she did at the Met Gala. Maybe also when she was asked a question that one time about RC dating a woman with a similar age gap to her and Rene..

No. What I meant was: I have no problem with her walking around NYC with that thing on but I hope she took it off for whatever show/video she was filming (if she was).

By the way, last night Celine was an answer to one of the quiz questions on the popular gameshow “Jeopardy!” which shows in America/Canada...and is also hosted by a Canadian Alex Trebek.

 

The category was “Hail, Caesar” and referenced a singer with very successful residencies at Caesar’s Palace. But it was the $200 clue...so the easiest of the bunch haha.

That is really cool. Also puts into perspective why Celine idolized Barbra Streisand so - it looks like during the entire decade of the 70s, when Celine was growing up, Barbra was the ONLY solo female artist on that list (unless I missed someone). Very different from the 90s, when there were so many.
