Céline RO Posted October 13, 2019 at 07:14 PM Posted October 13, 2019 at 07:14 PM Thank you those are the things I enjoy to read/see the most, right with the recording sessions that I dearly wishwe will be able to see as well. I knew people would like it! It’s also what I enjoy reading/seeing most, along with info about the tour. It also shuts up people who had anything negative to say about her voice! 3 The best is yet to come...
Céline RO Posted October 13, 2019 at 07:19 PM Posted October 13, 2019 at 07:19 PM If you wanted to know who Céline’s current vocal coach is and what she thinks of Céline’s voice in 2019, here you go:https://www.tvanouve...-voix-de-celine Summary: - Céline’s current vocal coach, Johanne Raby, says that Céline’s voice continues to evolve, and for the better.- Céline’s passion for passion makes her visibly happier and this has had a significant, beneficial effect on her voice. Because Céline is doing what she likes, she puts even more effort in what she does.- Impressed by Céline’s 4 new songs, the vocal coach considers them as powerful as those on “D’eux”, if not more.- According to Joahnne Raby, it is important to understand, take responsibility, work and maintain the voice in shape, something which Céline has visibly mastered. I think it is important that we value Johanne Raby’s point of view on Céline’s voice as, not only is she a professional but she also knows Céline’s voice better than anyone else. We can only judge by what we hear in concerts and don’t usually see Céline actually showcasing her voice enough to be able to form a valid opinion whereas Johanne knows exactly what Céline’s voice is capable of right now and also how her current voice compares to what it was like in the past. Therefore, if she says that Céline’s voice is better and improving, I think it’s good news that we can trust. It’s also great that this article is very recent (18 September 2019)! Interesting that Céline no longer works with Monique Cardinal, Véronic’s vocal coach who worked with Céline in 2015. The best is yet to come...

Because the write-up, as well as the clip in it, only says she's a vocal teacher / coach, but not specifically Celine's coach, hence wondering whether that was part of the (excluded) intro.

I don’t know but she has been referred to as Céline’s vocal coach in 2018 and she seems to personally know Céline and her voice. 1 The best is yet to come...
Chantemoi Posted October 14, 2019 at 05:11 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 05:11 PM Last night I was listening to “Titanic Suite” from Back to Titanic (the sequel soundtrack). If you’ve haven’t heard it in a while, I urge you to give the video below a look-see . I really love how several of the themes are woven together into one song, and I really got to thinking... I LOVE the new intro from the Courage World Tour, and LTALWT had it’s own overture that started the concert, but the song itself has been relatively unchanged — save for a few off performances at the Oscars, Grammys, World Children’s Day Concert. Why don’t they mix it up a bit? I think a new arrangement would build even more dynamic energy in the crowd. It seems like when René was alive, he really preferred her to sing songs exactly as they were on the album (but with really weak arrangements), but the 2016/17 summer tours proved that Scott can breathe new life into the oldies. Here we have what is quite possibly the most recognizable melody in the history of music, and yet they seemed scared to play around with it. 2

Chantemoi Posted October 14, 2019 at 11:40 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 11:40 PM They played around with “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” and I hated the outcome so... I don’t think I will like a “new” version of “My Heart Will Go On” either. I think I share René’s opinion on this (except for the bad arrangements). I’m talking more about the instrumental part. Remember the string version of Ziggy & L’amour existe encore from a few years back? Like, say the song started very gentle, haunting, stripped down, and then it built to a thunderous crescendo for the final verse. The standard version has been the pop radio edit, and it’s not evolved very much — even with the full orchestra in Vegas, it still had the pop arrangement. Maybe I’m alone in this argument, but I certainly think it deserves a face lift. 3

Crazy lol That IS crazy. I hadn’t even noticed!!! I’m really happy TLYM is back - that was the first of her songs I recognized after MHWGO, and it brings back memories of my brother and I imitating Céline (me, with the chest thumps) & Taro (him, playing “air” violin) 1

He deleted his comment on one of Céline’s video from her concert last night (where she was sick) talking sh*t about it. Like saying she’s going down blah blah. Caught another pretender Ayayay! Can someone check if “Celine Dion” show’s up in the list of celebrities towards the end of this video: Wouldn’t be crazy if Celine took a screenshot and posted in instagram saying: “I’ll chip in 2 millions dollars!” ?!?? That could be huge attention she would get.... No? Or the red heads could pick up the screenshot and do some funny posts on FB

scielle Posted October 20, 2019 at 03:19 PM Posted October 20, 2019 at 03:19 PM (edited) So apparently Montreal was campaigning to host World Pride in 2023. They ultimately lost to Sydney, but "their submission included a four-minute video highlighting the city’s diversity that ended with a brief cameo by Quebec superstar Celine Dion wrapped in a pride flag."(It's the same clip we got of her for Pride a few years back). https://nationalpost...worldpride-2023https://www.lapresse...-a-montreal.php Here's the campaign video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNkTNbumaCA Edited October 20, 2019 at 03:20 PM by scielle 1
