ryba Posted November 14, 2019 at 07:46 PM Posted November 14, 2019 at 07:46 PM Guys, in the official facebook group there is a watching party going on where they show DETAILED AND EXTENSIVE recording sessions for 1 fille and 4 types. And I would love to know where they got this footage from, since it's so extensive! Was this ever included on any DVD? I have all her DVDs from that time and I never saw that footage! Can someone please help?

ryba Posted November 14, 2019 at 08:06 PM Posted November 14, 2019 at 08:06 PM This video?https://youtu.be/eY-FDJeJlNwThey had an extensive version with footage only from the recording studio. It was much more extensive. I think what you posted was included on the special edition of the album that also included a DVD with this 15 min footage, right? But in the fb group they had longer videos of the recording sessions. I really wonder where they got that from.
isabel leite Posted November 16, 2019 at 02:44 AM Posted November 16, 2019 at 02:44 AM Hi Does anyone have this video or know where I can find it. Some time ago it was on youtube but not anymore. rené-angelil-released-his-biography-le-maitre-du-jeu-with-speech-of-celine-dion-2009. Celine is in a red dress and she is speaking French. At the end Rene is talking and they kiss.

zeopower6 Posted November 16, 2019 at 07:19 AM Posted November 16, 2019 at 07:19 AM Did Céline graduate from high school? I believe she didn't since she was basically singing professionally by then.
Bruno Portugal Posted November 16, 2019 at 10:29 AM Posted November 16, 2019 at 10:29 AM Can anyone here complete the Review Scores of Courage albums on Wikipedia, please? With so many favorable reviews it seems to me that they only posted the worst ... 2,5 and 3 * ??? I've seen review links with 4 and even 4.5 * in this forum. And if possible, can anyone update the number of albums sold by Celine on her Wikipedia page? There are already 250 million. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Courage_(Celine_Dion_album) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celine_Dion Thanks. 1 My Webpage >>> TRIBUTE TO CELINE DION
chocolatechip15 Posted November 16, 2019 at 09:29 PM Posted November 16, 2019 at 09:29 PM (edited) Did Céline graduate from high school? No. She dropped out of school at 14. One of the bios said she was supposed to be doing some sort of home study plan while traveling for her career but never really followed it. I guess she completely dropped out at some point. But that was common in her family- I think I read somewhere that Michel was the only one of her siblings to graduate from high school. I’m not sure about that, though. I don't recall ever reading that but if so, quite interesting seeing as Maman Dion's foundation seems to be all about making sure underprivileged kids make it through school. 1

Javascript is not enabled OR refresh the page to viewClick here to view the Tweet Surely if that had happened we would have heard about it at least once? But then again, she goes to RC's hockey games regularly and the locals are so used to it, those outings never show up on social media. So I guess stranger things have happened. Anyway, that tweet is now up to 3.4 million views, 228k likes, and 26k retweets. I'd say impromptu karaoke worked out rather well for her! 2

Yes, it’s in the Jenna Glatzer biography, page 14. It’s an authorized bio, so I assume it’s true. https://books.google.com/books?id=CAvRv-Myw08C&pg=PA14&lpg=PA14&dq=michel+is+the+only+dion+who+graduated+from+high+school+jenna+glatzer&source=bl&ots=djgq5SO7zu&sig=ACfU3U2ERAa_PthYrRelS9vUQpGI5fTOrw&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiK8ZaQ2PLlAhUQc98KHTarBHAQ6AEwAHoECAoQAQ#v=onepage&q=michel%20is%20the%20only%20dion%20who%20graduated%20from%20high%20school%20jenna%20glatzer&f=false 2

It's an authorized bio, so I assume it's true. https://books.google...glatzer&f=false Nice find. It's also quite telling about how cash-strapped they were... that the kids had to go work to contribute to putting food on the table. Really makes it stark just how much pressure there must have been on Celine even as a teenager, once she started making money. Explains her being somewhat exasperated in that Lise Payette interview in the early 90s, where she talked about how hard that was once she started being the primary breadwinner for everyone and kept getting calls when people needed money. 4

mirage Posted November 18, 2019 at 10:01 AM Posted November 18, 2019 at 10:01 AM I wonder if she would tell us. Maybe we should just contact the ones who were at the sessions apparently. Meaning when Celine recorded the vocal part? In which case waaaaoooo must have been quite stressful(Unless it was the other recording sessions, eg instruments) Brian Wilson: is it the one having contributed to the Courage album? Interesting as well that Chris Isaak was there too. Wondering why / what was the link.

Yes, and the account there of the sessions is remarkably consistent with the account in the Germain ‘97 bio of Celine. It says that Phil yelled at Dave Platel (referenced in the Phil bio as a guy from the record company, but in Celine’s bio as Dave Platel) - Rene got angry that Dave was being treated like that and walked out and canceled the sessions. In Celine’s bio, it says that she looked at Rene and knew what he was going to do and was in total agreement, and she actually walked out first (to the parking lot with Dave), while Rene told Phil why they were leaving. Here’s the piece about Celine in the Phil bio: https://books.google.com/books?id=AtGGsfW10d0C&printsec=frontcover&dq=tearing+down+the+wall+of+sound+rene&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjaoPjM9_PlAhVvh-AKHeELCWAQ6AEIJzAA#v=onepage&q=Celine&f=false 4

I Drove All Night! Posted November 20, 2019 at 02:37 AM Posted November 20, 2019 at 02:37 AM Any chance anyone has a HQ silhouette of Celine in this photo? I'm making a shirt for my sister for Christmas and was hoping to put a small silhouette of Celine on the back of it. The shirt is dark so I would need just the outline (no white background). I know I've seen silhouettes in the past but cant for the life of me find this one in a decent quality. Thanks in advance! ❤ https://images.app.goo.gl/ZBkDSYNrkqY3zeAa9
