I have a question for yall :D I found this picture on my computer and I wonder if you know what year it was taken (looking at her hair, I would say around 2004?) and why she had a photo session with Barbara that year?

I believe it was at the 2005 Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children charity event.

Note Celine's outfit that day in my tweet below, and also Barbra's outfit from that performance here: http://barbra-archiv...foundation.html

 

(Andre and Barbra briefly dated in the early '90s, which is how he ended up introducing her to Celine.

And then of course he went on to famously marry Steffi Graf and I guess they were business partners with Celine in that Pure Nightclub? And potentially neighbours? That last bit I'm not sure about.)

Was randomly watching Celine videos from 2017... and omg. Her hair from Jan-Feb 2017 was so elegant and gorgeous, i wish she’d have it like that again, even for just an event. It was soooo gorgeous

I remember seeing a preview of a movie here on the forum about the lead actress being a Celine fan. It was suppose to come out this year. Had a lot of Celine music and the title was the same as one of Celine’s songs. Does anyone know the name? Merci.

What did he mean back in the game? I mean, Babs may not have been performing live...but she was still making records. I’m sure David had mentioned Céline beforehand to Babs prior to 1992...(I know they briefly mention it in the Making Of of Tell Him..)

interesting and I have several questions. Are they doing this just with PQTME? Is it the classics or could they also use her newer songs as ads, like say, FOMO? Is this a random thing? Is it only outside of the US?

As you all know this morning we were flooded with exciting Céline stuff. I was really not expecting ALL of this (especially not 20 track album, 3 new singles etc.) so I was almost crying with excitement when I saw all the Instagram posts. Just then, “My Heart Will Go On” started playing on the radio. Truly one of the most exciting days ever.

Hm, interesting. And good question.

 

Wouldn't be the first time she's sued over something like this. Didn't some former [landscaper, was it?] at their Florida home sue Celine & Rene over unpaid overtime?

It was the guy who managed her property, I believe. However, he was salaried making around $60,000 a year. I see a lot of these lawsuits popping up for unpaid overtime from salaried employees. This is why you are on salary??? Leave your job if they’re making you work 80 hours a week and you don’t believe it’s worth it. I am salaried and working just 40 hours would seem like being on vacation to me.
