So i was listening to the lmbtl vinyl and when save your soul was playing i thought to myself...this song needs a rapper in it....then oddly enough i hear some guy rapping lmao!! The version on spotify i listen to in my car doesnt have that so it caught me off guard. It's odd that i dont recall this prior. Felt a bit embarrassed lol

It's just another example of the incomprehensible decisions that Céline's team has taken over the years with her album/singles releases, and the bad choices hard to understand for us.

 

It's not an exaggeration to say that her team @ Sony (or whoever mades decisions like that) has swum against the tide and screwed it up not just once, but on many, many occasions.

 

I mean, who on Earth takes the trouble to do a version of this song with a rap segment -which is far better than the insipid standard version alone-, which could be (IS) one of the reasons to pay attention to that album, and then includes it ONLY on the vinyl release (and without crediting the rap version/singer next to the title, on the first place!!!!! :wacko: ),

 

Well, exactly what you think: it's as if it all was done exactly on purpose, to hide it, so that nobody notices this version and goes totally unnoticed.

 

Exactly like they've been doing with all the potential gems which screamed to be singles on her most radio friendly albums, but they eliminated all chances for these songs to shine, and instead they released and promoted the worst, most inexplicable ones

I have the exact same problem!!! RC should be 7 years old like when he was at the TC tour. I have issues with him being 17 years old because I remember hoping for years that Céline would get pregnant before 2001

I wouldn’t be surprised if a limited edition re-release for “Loved Me Back To Life” was planned at the time. The rap version of “Save Your Soul” could have been the single used to promote the re-release. However, sadly, we all know why promotion for the album stopped.

In Paris, close by Moulin Rouge there is a VERY small shop that has lots of Céline items, old and new. But they are expensive http://www.illogicall-music.fr/fr/

 

Fnac has some but I was disappointed in their collection, I thought they would have more.

Geez, does that vendor ever sell his items? Seeing the prices, it seems like he just want to keep them for himself, unless he can get a really high price for it (and buy a new copy cheaper somewhere else)...

Toronto's my home city; my baby brother works near that intersection... Meanwhile, I live and work by Chambers & West in lower Manhattan, where someone with a rented van did exactly the same thing last October, killing 8.

Too close to home, too many times.

Agree with you both. I went in there and only bought a small postcard for €10 just in case I'd meet Céline again and I had something for her to sign.

I liked a lot of stuff that he had but nope, I wasn't that stupid. My friends however bought a lot.

First lady Melania Trump stepped out in quite the statement hat on Tuesday in Washington D.C., welcoming French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte to the White House. Trump paired the white wide-brimmed topper with an asymmetrical belted white dress by Michael Kors, as first reported by CNN’s Kate Bennett, for a look that read fashion outlaw.

The spotlight is on Trump this week as she fulfills the first hostess role, welcoming the Macrons for a state visit and the administration’s first state dinner tonight.

The hat was an odd choice but one that spoke volumes; for one, first lady Trump seems determined not to come across as a victim in the wake of the tawdry allegations against her husband. She is the proverbial lady in white, the innocent, perhaps, in the Washington, D.C. s*** storm. The hat was also a reminder of her fashion chops, that she’s not afraid to stand out from the crowd in a $51,500 Dolce & Gabbana coat that costs more than what many Americans take home in a year, or to buck tradition and wear European designers while serving in the role of American first lady.She did just that on Monday, when she appeared in another outlaw look, a Dolce & Gabbana black tuxedo cape, when first greeting the French couple and welcoming them to town. Traditionally an after-5 look, the tuxedo cape during the daytime also made her stick out from the rest of the Washington crowd. (A superhero cape?) She wore the cape over a black Givenchy dress that put her famous legs on parade. The outfit was a little Melania (Dolce & Gabbana), a little French (Givenchy) and a little subversive, suggesting that all is not as it seems in America’s house.
