Oh, but I love Sous Le Vent!

And the fact that he was obviously in love with her sort of added an extra layer to those performances.

 

I've always wondered whether Céline (or René!) realized that Garou had a thing for her. Remember when Céline referred to him as her 'brother' at one point lol :P

Céline may be a bit oblivious to male attention (she once said no one had ever tried to flirt with her haha), but I'm sure René must have noticed.

 

As for now, I can only assume/hope poor Garou got over his crush and moved on.

It has been a long time since we last saw them together, no?

Even I would turn him down. Totally not my kind of person.

 

I never understood why she agreed to do a duet with him.

Most of all, I don’t like her duets at all, except for Tell Him (bur Barbra is female) and the duets with JJ Goldman (but he wrote her songs and exactly knows how to play and sing those songs to express the emotions).

 

Agree, I'm not a fan of her duets either. I do love Sous Le Vent though, the song is beautiful. But seriously, what is it that people like about Garous voice? it's so raspy, I want to give him a cough drop!

Do y'all think Garou got inspired by Céline's last French compilation album (and EUS??)

This is the song that Garou wrote for his finalist on La Voix. I did think of Céline's compilation when I heard the title but I'd say he took more inspiration from Yama(his finalist) than anyone else.

LOL I second this, I tried watching his solo performance at the Sur Les Plaines DVD once but couldn't finish, his voice is definitely not my cup of tea.

Okay.... so im sure im not alone when i think this but....

 

 

Does anyone else get super crazy ( not as in like angry but surprised and giddy) when Celine swears or cusses.

 

Like the few times she has swore have been a bit shocking not badly but as in “wow i didnt know she had it in her” type of thing. Like Mama Celine is PG

 

Like on the ANDHC special when she saysRC sh*t on her wasnt that bad

 

But when she said “theres no bullshit like that” in 1996 in Monaco... OH MY GOD I FREAKED OUT

 

Anyone else who feels that way ?

I know! She always kissing Jean Pierre Ferland on the lips. I just thought maybe he's gay that's why it's alright...

 

He's a married man and has two daughters I think :P

 

But yeah, I guess René had a deal with him being the only man he allowed to kiss Céline on her lips :doh:

Yes I think it's so weird to see her with another man other than Rene. Can you imagine now if she starts a new relationship? I totally hope she does, but it's going to be strange seeing her kiss another man for real. I just hope that when she does find someone, she is as happy as she was with Rene!

I've tried searching for the video but can't find it. She's in a studio and if I remember correctly she wings her arms and knocks over some water bottles that are on a table next to her and says F*uck . I think it's from Taking Chances era or earlier

I'd love to see the video clip again

I remember on the TCWT shes in a store and knocks down some legs with fancy socks on them (lol) and she gasps and you can hear her say s*** under her breath

I think she mainly says F*uck and S*hit . That's the only curse word I use as well and no not because of her B)

Honestly if anyone has videos of Celine cussing or swearing please send me them lol i get so excited when she does. I feel like im surprised RC hasnt been joking with her and recorded her swearing or something. Honestly i think Celine does swear ALOT more than we think PG Celine does, shes very professional but everyone swears

I would think she was careful around the twins but with RC she probably does and RC does curse that's for sure.

Celine isn't saying the F word in this video, she's just makes a little "Ah" noise right after she knocks over the water bottles and then says, "That's why I don't wear makeup I'd be a mess".

So my boss is a huge hockey fan, and mentioned that tonight is Vegas vs. Winnipeg. My first response was "Oh I bet Celine and RC will be going tonight then!" And we started talking and it was mentioned that maybe she will sing Canada's National Anthem in one of the games.

 

We searched online for a few minutes to see if it was reported who sang on Wednesday night, and which celebrities showed up. But I found no information relating to Celine. Does anyone know if she was there on Wednesday night? :)

RC was there with his friends but didn't see Céline. It has been a rumor for a while that she will sing the national anthem. First time I heard it was in the beginning of January.

It would be cool indeed if she'd sing both the Canadian and American anthems!

And then seeing Deadpool on skates twirling like a ballerina around Céline... :giggle:
