Arent L’Olympia, Live A Paris and Dix Ans Deja still available on vinyl ?

 

I remember seeing all 3 on ebay and none were more than $70

Those were never released on vinyl. Only En Concert from 1986 was.

I would love love LOVE another vinyl release of a live album for celine.

 

As i have been expanding my vinyl collection lately for many artists i have interest in, i have found that in event when greatest hits albums aren't available for artists with 30+ year career, i have settled (and been happy with) live albums which often have many songs fron many albums.

 

I've been amazed at how some of these recordings from performances in 1973 on a radio station suddenly are restored to great enough quality for vinyl. Madonna and queen both had vinyls with performances from different nights all compiled on one vinyl. Neat concept.

 

My 1985 en concert vinyl of celine still sounds so clear when i put it on for a listen....i would love that same quality. I don't want the edited sound seen in anything after 1997 for vinyl.

 

Def leppard as part of a box set just released their first 4 studio albums on vinyl as well as a 1983 concert for the first time ever in its entirity, direct from the soundboard. Gives me hope for maybe a compilation of sorts different, unusual, and rare performances like madonna had on one of her live vinyls.

I'd love to have the full Live A Paris concert on vinyl :wub2: I have the Laserdisc and it looks soooo good on 12"!!!

Those were never released on vinyl. Only En Concert from 1986 was.

My mistake, there are 12”s of L’Olympia with Calling you and with B Le Fils De Superman as a B side.

 

Also saw a Double sided release of POL and LEE on Ebay for $129.65 😫

 

Btw, was Last To Know ever released on Vinyl as a single. Trying to get all pre 1995 vinyl singles in english before i move on to french

I found that inclusion a bit odd, too. I think my Top 10 Underrated (English) Celine Dion Songs list (in no particular order) would probably look something like this:

I don't think so but I'm not sure.

 

RC doesn't have the Dion name in his.

 

But I think they all have a catholics name in their names like Céline has Marie Claudette in hers

No. That's a last name.

I believe Quebec law states that the woman must keep her maiden name so Celine is "Dion-Angelil", but not the boys; don't think they have hyphenated last names.

 

A middle name is a given name. Different concept, and I don't think the twins have one.

I thought I remembered someone saying on this forum a long time ago that RC's middle name is Joseph? :hmm:

 

I am not 100% certain on that, but I believe RC's full name is Rene-Charles, Joseph Angelil. Don't quote me on that though. I also don't think that Nelson and Eddy have middle names, but I could be wrong?

here in Québec , in the catholic religion, every boy have Joseph in their name, for the girls , it is Marie. Middle name is often the godfather or godmother, but could be something signifiant for the parents. Could be an alternative name when the parents were not perfectly on phase on the name. Depends on the tradion in the family.

Erm well, I’m glad that Alone was scrapped. It’s a great song, but TC had some great original songs they could have released instead. Absolute shame they didn’t.

As for tracks being pitched higher-that’s down to the producers. Completely unnecessary if you ask me! 😂
