Just found out, thanks to the previous posts, that other artists'fans have a nickname and we don't.

 

Maybe it means that:

 

- we are so different and oppinionated, that we never agreed on one;

- we don't care, our love goes on without any label/name;

- a lack of an official paid fanclub to promote one / such action was never a priority of the on-off team.

 

Whatever the reason, you are all my "fluffy Céline nerds", some quite crazy in love, some quite adorable to talk & hang out with.

 

The end of my declaration of fan love.

Joke aside, I thought "Celiniacs" was the official name... I think even Oprah mentioned that. :hmm:

 

Celiniacs was only from a group of Italian fans, like the Red Heads. I surely don't want to be associated with the RHs!

 

Back in the day there was this term SCF---- Scary Celine Fan, but that was for people who were TOO protective, TOO never seeing a negative thing about Celine, TOO busy to show their love for her, TOO everything... Come to think of it... maybe we should re-introduce this term. :shifty: :giggle:

 

I'm just a Céline fan or as Céline says: my fans. That's enough for me :P

Thanks for the info about past terms, some defo apply to current fans.

 

Also, I don't get the "beef" between group of fans, unless one has some sort of personal history of epic proprortions with one such group.

 

Without knowing it at first, I have met some of the Red Heads members last summer & this March in Vegas and they were lovely hardcore fans.

 

All I can wish and hope for is that different large fan groups coordinate somewhow for the benefit of supporting the artist we love in the best way possible and why not, by providing great info to us, the non-group afiliated fans.

 

Together in Unison :) to do the job of a worlwide fanclub.

 

One can hope...

It would be somewhat nice, but if we don't have one after 30 years, slim chances we will...

 

We could of course say that this makes us & Her even more special, for the ego boost, lol.

Considering each group's Godess/role model, it might be the other way around ;) (swearing vocals included in the score).

As co-author of the term SCF, I truly commend you on your accurate explanation of its origins. However, language shifts over time and I concede that now the term has more of an endearing meaning and can be used to describe most fans. We all have our scary moments. Even me, the most sane Celine fan in existence. 🤐
