Well René really liked Denise Bombardier. No wonder she followed them on tour for one year and wrote La Diva on the album D'elles.

So obviously Céline would have never refused an interview from Denise.

Why is the sales of D'elles quite low when compared to Sans Attendre and EOS? :hmm: :down: :wtf: Is it because the year 2007 was the transit between physical and digital eras?

Emotions all the way! High notes are more of a complement to me, sometimes they are not really necessary. :)

Céline received many honors, of course the most of them from Canada, but I wonder why she has not been awarded the Order of the British Empire yet, as Canada is part of Commonwealthu and Céline is the biggest Canadian STAR.

The Nickle Resolution stopped Canadians receiving any titles from the reigning King or Queen. So The Queen can’t offer her an O.B.E. for example, and being Canadian, Celine can’t accept one.

Not unless they change that law in Canada, sadly no. But she definitely would have an O.B.E. at least by now 😢

For anyone keeping track, Carolina Kostner - with her Ne me quitte pas program - is in the lead at the world championships after the ladies' short program (with what apparently was the best score of the season, no less!) That's right, ahead of all those girls half her age. :clapping:

I was just watching the Winter Garden show, and the performance of If Love Is Out of Question caught my eye. I don't even know how to describe it, it is so.. platonic, almost asexual. In the modern world of music and entertainment, you can almost imagine all the sexual innuendos she could include in the song, but she performs it from the perspective of an angry and frustrated woman. And I think it's brilliant! :flowers:
