Xpresso Posted March 17, 2018 at 07:00 PM Posted March 17, 2018 at 07:00 PM Well René really liked Denise Bombardier. No wonder she followed them on tour for one year and wrote La Diva on the album D'elles. So obviously Céline would have never refused an interview from Denise. 4

Chula Posted March 18, 2018 at 05:41 AM Posted March 18, 2018 at 05:41 AM (edited) Why is the sales of D'elles quite low when compared to Sans Attendre and EOS? Is it because the year 2007 was the transit between physical and digital eras? Edited March 18, 2018 at 05:42 AM by Chula 1

duri Posted March 21, 2018 at 09:35 AM Posted March 21, 2018 at 09:35 AM Céline received many honors, of course the most of them from Canada, but I wonder why she has not been awarded the Order of the British Empire yet, as Canada is part of Commonwealthu and Céline is the biggest Canadian STAR. http://www.supermusic.sk/obrazky/80543_Celine%209.jpg

The Nickle Resolution stopped Canadians receiving any titles from the reigning King or Queen. So The Queen can’t offer her an O.B.E. for example, and being Canadian, Celine can’t accept one.

"I felt that when I wrote that song, it was better than I was at the time, if that makes sense. I was like, 'Whoa, this is probably my best song.' There's something lyrically about it." "Because" was released as both the lead single from Dion's first No. 1 album (of four), Falling Into You, and theme to the Robert Redford and Michelle Pfeiffer movie Up Close & Personal. Despite her hit track record, Warren still had to convince director Jon Avnet to feature the song in the film. "He wasn't telling me for a couple months," she recalls. "I was like, 'You know this song's the one. Come on.' " Edited March 23, 2018 at 05:04 PM by Loup_garou 1
Modesta Posted March 23, 2018 at 08:58 PM Posted March 23, 2018 at 08:58 PM I was just watching the Winter Garden show, and the performance of If Love Is Out of Question caught my eye. I don't even know how to describe it, it is so.. platonic, almost asexual. In the modern world of music and entertainment, you can almost imagine all the sexual innuendos she could include in the song, but she performs it from the perspective of an angry and frustrated woman. And I think it's brilliant! 1

Haven’t you noticed that if there’s a supergroup.. they always give the Climax part (belting high long notes) to Céline Voices That Care (1990) Love Lights The World (1994) Aren’t They All Our Children (2002) What More Can I Give (2003) Come Together Now (2005) We Are The World (25 for Haiti) (2010)

Haven't you noticed that if there's a supergroup.. they always give the Climax part (belting high long notes) to Céline And that's another reason why so many people have "hated" her throughout her career, because she's always doing the "screaming" belting notes 1 "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
