Taking Chances Posted March 10, 2018 at 12:54 AM Posted March 10, 2018 at 12:54 AM Do any of you know which font is used on the album cover for Falling Into You? I've looked through so many fonts to find it, but that seems to be impossible.

Me hearing her sing as a little girl, I was mind blown every single time. I was inspired to be like I need to sing like that. I feel like I can sing like that. I’m Céline Dion. I’m her niece. I can do what she does. I learned all of her songs and I was just always singing around the house”, she mentions between laughs. Remember that breakfast where Sevana’s family discovered her talent? She happened to be singing Dion’s ‘A New Day Has Come’. And just as Dion laments about perseverance and fearlessly running towards fate, so the artist knew her destiny involved using her voice as an instrument of awareness." jpatdeleon09 Posted March 10, 2018 at 10:57 AM Posted March 10, 2018 at 10:57 AM Does anyone know the meaning of pointing at her microphone and doing a thumbs down gesture while doing concert? Sometime thumbs up. I wonder what's that mean?
rhapsodion Posted March 11, 2018 at 01:06 AM Posted March 11, 2018 at 01:06 AM Does anyone know the meaning of pointing at her microphone and doing a thumbs down gesture while doing concert? Sometime thumbs up. I wonder what's that mean? I think that's the gesture she uses to cue her sound man to pump up or turn down the volume of her own mic feed in the ear monitor.

CelineDionFreak Posted March 15, 2018 at 03:03 AM Posted March 15, 2018 at 03:03 AM Not sure where to put this ,but could someone pls translate this,The little yellow circle means “Celine on the dawn of her 50 years” and the white text means “the heart of the woman behind the star”. I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
Condor Posted March 15, 2018 at 02:42 PM Posted March 15, 2018 at 02:42 PM (edited) "Une femme de coeur" is an expression that can be translated by "A woman with a big heart",meaning that she's a caring, loving woman.Coincidently, this very same ad occupies a full page today in the Journal de Montréal,page 43,lol. Lexi Posted March 16, 2018 at 07:14 PM Posted March 16, 2018 at 07:14 PM (edited) Céline Dion à coeur ouvert, part 4, translated by Condor the subtitler. https://youtu.be/iUW78NNRWDI First of all, Condor, thank you for the effort you take to translate these French interviews. i am very happy with your work. So, the comments below are absolutely no negatives to you. Does anyone cringe (like I do) when watching this interview? This mrs. Bombardier, I don’t know, but I feel really uncomfortable when I hear her asking these questions. these are deep digging questions, and yes, I am hearing things Céline never spoke about, or rarely speaks of. But the way these questions are asked, feels like Céline is having a shrink session. Also, I feel like this lady interrupts Céline too often (and somehow I have that feeling that Céline is not happy with that). And I have this feeling Céline doesn’t want to answer the questions, but somehow thinks she has to be polite to this lady. But what I thought that was remarkable, was that in this part, she talks about the inversed roles between her and her mother. And that reminds me of... yes... Celle qui m’a tout appris. Song recorded in 2012. This video was recorded in 2008. So, did the songwriter got influenced by these phrases? Edited March 16, 2018 at 07:15 PM by Lexi

So, did the songwriter got influenced by these phrases?it is an interview for quebec people, and Denise Bombardier spent a year with her to write a book about Celine... Denise bombardier is quite the legend in quebec and she ask what she wants to ask every time she wants. when you do an interview with her , you are aware of what is waiting for you beforehand. Celine responded the best she could without saying what she what didn't wanted to say. 4 Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

You're 100% right.Céline doesn't answer when she doesn't want to.Period.In this interview,Bombardier was very nice with Céline. You should've seen her on TV 5, on the TV set of a show in France, when she confronted a writer praising pedophilia in his latest book! I'd say that Denise Bombardier is the Barbara Walters of Quebec. She's now retired as an interviewer.Lots of people loved to hate her but loved her when she interviewed someone they didn't like and Bombardier confronted this person, especially politicians. However, they hated Bombardier even more when she wasn't complacent in an interview with someone they loved.Personally,I never liked Denise Bombardier's personality, but I loved watching most of her interviews. These were never dull. 5
jpatdeleon09 Posted March 17, 2018 at 01:48 PM Posted March 17, 2018 at 01:48 PM If céline didn't record My Heart Will Go On.... maybe until now her ending song will be Because You Loved Me..

isabel leite Posted March 17, 2018 at 06:23 PM Posted March 17, 2018 at 06:23 PM https://youtu.be/c--BapxSLJUI was wonderig if someone could help me . I am studying French but I still have a lot to learn. I still don't understand everything. I was watching this video of Celine and Rene and at 14:04 Celine asks Rene a question , which I don't understand, and they like touch noses. What did she ask him? Could someone help me? Thanks
Xpresso Posted March 17, 2018 at 06:53 PM Posted March 17, 2018 at 06:53 PM The sound isn't the best but I think she said "Can I ask you to come close to me" or something like that.. 4

This brings things in a different light for me.Still don't like the interviewer, or the way she takes interviews (if I were an interesting person to be interviewed by mrs abombardier, I'd refuse), but I appreciate it more now with the info you gave. One mustn't forget that when René accepted that Céline be interviewed by Denise Bombardier,he knew he'd be there, ready to intervene if he didn't like certain questions. It wouldn't surprise me that it happened, but these questions were edited. In Part 5 that I'm currently translating,we realize that Céline may be an open book but not THAT much. She explains how, despite appearances, she keeps many things secret. Many people refused to be interviewed by Denise Bombardier and the general public thought that this person was a chicken or had something to hide.I'd accept to be interviewed by her if the questions were only about my album,my book or whatever.I wouldn't want to spread my private life or the flaws of my personality in public. 4
