Alright this is such a lame question, and i'm about 100 percent positive i already know the answer, but i figured i'll ask.

Is Rene Angelil, the ONLY person Celine has ever been with?

 

 

And secondly..

I'm doing a paper of architypes. My architype is "hero as a lover". Which is defined as "someone who is motivated for love to complete a quest". I have to find a song that would relate to this architype. Does anyone have any ideas of a song of Celine's that I could use?

i think i can answer the first question, she liked some guy before Rene, when she was very young, nothing major though, think they might have kissed. Its in her book , either for keeps or my story, my dream, anybody correct me if im wrong, but i think thats true.

Celine did an excerpt for a book called Exactly As I Am by Shaun Richardson. It is like a book on how young girls can have self-confidence and be thereselves with everyone or something along those lines.I saw it on her website..hopefully my library will have it soon....

Maybe the "My Love" should been Volume 2, or at least Volume 1.5. LOL.

 

I kinda think the "collector's stuff" was part of marketing during her break. You know, like, "let's let Celine take her break, and go on all the talk shows and talk about her break, perform the songs, blah blah blah and a few months in to her break, we'll release a bogus album, just to keep her sales up and make sure everyone remembers her during her break..."

 

Let's wait for the next few months and see what happens with her time off, trip to the fertility doctor, yada yada, and see what kinda publicity is done for this next break... will there be much publicity? or will she just chill on her own? will there be a volume 2, with mostly the same songs from My Love in a few months? let's see what happens in the coming months...

Hi, I''m reading some stuff of "S'il suffisait d'aimer" by googling , I love this album more than D'eux, so I wanna find some story or report of it. There is one thing I'm curious but could not got a clue that somewhere says "S'il suffisait d'aimer" is her second besting-selling French album, and may be the second besting-selling French album of all time. We all know that "D'eux" is the most selling French album of all time, everywhere talks like that, but none of them mention what the whole list is.

I wanna know if "S'il suffisait d'aimer" is the second besting-selling French album of all time and where I can get sales record...

I googled for quite a while, but I don't speak French and I failed to find a English website on that, even on wiki, so I just got nothing...

Yeah, D'eux is Celine's best selling French album (actually it's the Best selling French album ever).

And S'il Suffisait D'aimer is the second.

So the JUNO awards is tomorrow and this got me thinking about something: Why has Celine always been overlooked, not only by the JUNOs, but by the Grammys and other award shows in the past decade? Is it because Celine is not ''cool'' enough or what? I don't know, but sometimes I think that these award shows is just a big joke... Is it just me, or do the albums that sell the most copies never win anything (well in the last ten years in any case)? This makes me very sad, because if there is one person that deserve these awards, it is Celine... Doesn't the fact that Celine is the best selling female artist of all time tell the people that decide these things something?

Yeah that one was a duet, but Dreams to Dream i think was the Disney song for Fieval Goes West that Celine recorded but was dropped for Linda Ronstadt - which wasn't that successful!!! Don't think Celine's version has ever surfaced. Sony should definitely release a compilation album of these very rare songs. We can only wish

random fact, they just mentioned Celine on The Real Housewives of New York!! The Countess Luann deLesseps asked her house keeper "do you like Celine Dion?" and she said "oh yes very much." and Luann said "I saw her concert, I had an extra ticket I should have taken you if I'd known." I'm assuming this was the Madison Square Garden because this show was filmed over last year sometime.

yup! I think she recorded it in 1990, because it was before BATB! she first didn't want to record BATB cos she was still very upset about being ditched for Dreams to dream!

Nick does have family...but doesn't see them much due to his busy busy schedule with Celine. He isn't married, and doesn't have children. He doesn't take time for himself very much at all...he works 15+ hours a day usually. He stays in a hotel by himself when he takes her to and from places.

actually Luann has said her housekeeper is like family to her and her kids, they are really generous with Rosie and she spends alot of time with the family on vacations. Luann is all about manners and stuff so I think she would have actually taken her.
